Premiership ruckman in AA form we got for a packet of twisties. Add to that the Norm smith medalist for a second rounder.

But all we hear about is the Shultz trade.

Agree Cameron will be 2nd in the Copeland this year. He's been outstanding and consistent. Don't think he's any chance to take it from Nick Daicos, who is leading the coaches votes from our other players by a mile , the same coach who votes on the Copeland .

The combo of Cameron and Cox is the best ruck combination in the league.
Won the Flag last year and in the last 13 games of 2024 where we had them
both in the team, we only lost once. That was to Sydney at the SCG by 3 points.
Basically if we get Cameron and Cox together we win.

Yeah, I reckon that has played a part.
Has a slight niggle early pre-season, but from January onwards he transformed completely.

So we pretty much won every game when they played together

Not including that disastrous 0-3 start we had. From then onwards they were together 13 times and the only loss in those 13 was to Sydney (a game we should have won!).
Cox missed Rounds 13 to 20. We were W2, L5 in that period without our ruck combo.

Yeah he was one of our most consistent players, and he can take a contested grab unlike some of our previous rucks. He was also difficult for other rucks to play against. What a success story, credit to him and the club!

he's the best contested mark in the game now.

ironically the guy he replaced is one of the worst ruckmen for contested marks.

Pretty good chance to make the Final Cut to if they go with 2x rucks. You’d think Gawn has 1 of those locked up, out of Cameron and Xerri for the other.
