I agree. I am not very high on Kelly, and think his only hope in the backline

Biggest issue is defenders are easier to fill than forwards. But I think we’ve seen Moore is a better defender. I doubt the new coach till trial him forward again, it’s been done.

Not many will agree with this, but I'd also argue that gun marking defenders have a bigger influence than gun KPFs.

Absolutely. When he finally got moved forward it was a desperate last gasp half baked effort by a coach trying to save his career. As soon as we got. One injury in defence and Moore had some quiet games forward…. They gave up. It needs to be better planne d next time

Exactly, it needs to be trained in pre season.

Would have also been nice to experiment with Howe up forward. I do not recall him ever being part of a functioning forward line at Melbourne when he played forward.

Both of these players at the very least could be great swingmen.

Well that puts that debate to bed does it not? And let us not forget that the new coach earmarked him as a great defender in waiting when he worked as a development coach with the Pies.

I didn't have a good day yesterday for getting simple things correct. I have never heard 'dibs' used in this context meaning 'made a claim' and assumed it was a nickname, but as gouki88 remarked I believe I was further confused by Dib the draft prospect. Thanks for setting me right.

Pick 12 would be swallowed up as soon as Daicos bid comes in. We'd be better off holding him and getting any FA compo that would likely be a first round pick attached to our future first if he left next year. That compo pick likely to attached to our future first and be better than Sydney's pick.
