Good timing. Just came here to post a thread on this. Watched the first 3 episodes yesterday. Really enjoying it. I'm watching the English dubbed version on Netflix. Doesn't really bother me.

We were looking for something to watch last night and was going to watch this but it appeared the only option was subtitles (doesn't bother me but wifey didn't want to). How do you get the english dubbed version on Netflix raskolnikov? Is it just an option turn on/off somewhere?

When you click on it the first screen has an audio and subtitles option.

Been binging it. Great show. While being similar in style to a few things of late it has its own uniqueness in its German/European flavour and time concept. Also good to watch something for once where you don't recognize any other actor from anything else. Not sure how people watch anything dubbed other than funny Kung Fu dub lol.

Watched the first ep. A little bit Stranger Things, a little bit Donnie Darko?

Yeah, sat down to watch this Saturday morning, end up hooked and finished it Sunday evening. Which I never do.

Really gripping show, even if a little bit too bleak. Not sure I found the final scene particularly satisfying, but hopefully Season 2 will fix that.

So dope.

Loved how it got to a point mid-way through which might've acted as a finale for any other show, but they just went full tilt ahead. Gorgeous to look at, and for a show that is named 'Dark', I was surprised to see how dark it really got, both tonally and literally.

It's a huge ensemble, which made it a bit of work to stay on top off things, which would be the only critique I had. Replaces the synth of Stranger Things with indie, and it worked too.

Just finished it now - superb. Loved everything about it, very complicated but absorbing. Cannot remember the last time I had to think so hard whilst trying to keep up with the story. Many questions left at the end but hopefully season 2 will expand. Which will make it even more ****en complicated.

FWIW I agree with those saying the German version with subtitles is the way to go, started automatically on the dubbed but found it terrible. Switched within minutes.

New season has dropped. 8 eps. Watching the first ep now and I’m pretty lost lol, they need a clock in the corner of screen so I know what year it is!

You guys were right to re-watch season 1 or at least find a recap which I’ll do now as I can’t remember the details well enough.

If anyone’s just watched Chernobyl this show is a perfect follow up! S2 First ep was very promising so far.

Just finished ep 4. Outstanding. The way the plot just slowly and ominously spirals outwards across so many timelines now is just so clever. Answering unanswered questions from season 1 too which has been great, it follows on/overlays season 1 so well.
