Somerset may just be looking at "topping" onwhat they already have and maybe looking outside the square as in Circular Head and NWFA players is not such a bad thing, anyway they have not had many on the track since coming back after Xmas but it is still early , the more players the better as the depth at any club is always important and from what I have seen of Jono everyone has to earn a game anyway
No need to go calling me a tool. You asked what recruits you had and I came up with a few names rumored to be out there. Moocher has cleared up what they all doing for me now anyway. I was only asking the question.
Williamsdidn’t he play back when Adam was a boy. With all these superstar recruits somerset have got he won’t get a game anyway.

Don't know much about him, I have heard he is a good player. fairly bald for a young bloke though

I agree with you signhiup every time you say something about Somerset dont they get there back up.And they forget some of sh#t they say.

I heard Archer staying put at Burnie anyone else heard this.
Yep young Dobson may be at Langley , has come from that very fine group from the South Burnie Under17s and is mates with Fieldy and Baldy. Has had a knee injury and therefore not played for a couple of seasons, there again as I have said previously , anyone knew to any club that is young is always good for the depth especially at Somerset where the majority of their Reserves players are a fair way off Senior Footy and that is where South Burnie exposed them in the Grannys the last couple of years but a good group and to play in A granny and lose is better than not having played, a fifty fifty chance of winning if you are playing
The forwards go allright at Somerset, backline may need filling but I have heard that will be rectified this year, the boys will miss Slappa in the ruck early on though, thats where a 14 game season is not so good maybe ?Heard on the weekend the Crows realy struggling what with employment etc down there, have they got a coach, Lette was in the mix but has to work on Saturdays I heard, anyone got any more on the crows, they should make the lightning premiership Super8s to cover them when they come up, Rolls would be handy at Somerset along with Brody Dennis and a few others

Heard Robbo from S'set venturing off to Queensland on a working holiday, a loss for the roo boys, but have heard johno has a new assistant in Brent Burgess and by all reports can play, a good on-baller, anyone shed any light on him.
Robbo gone Burgo in. Can play racking left footer who is fit as. Good signup for the roo boys.
Yep, Beagle Burgess best on for TC Bulldogs in the granny they won a couple of years ago at Smithton, can play, also has played in four A Grade coastal premierships at Cricket, 2 at Sheffield, 1 at Burnie Yeoman and one at Westbury, a very, very handy pick up indeed-well done Jono and the recruiting staff again
Played all his footy at queeny. Playes half forward flank/ center half forward. good mark and has been known to be able to kick afew. Kept queeny in the game against the roo's in the first final played last year. kicked 6 or so.

Yolla has lost their assistant coach already in brendan reeve, his dad said he isn't to play in the darwin he is only allowed to play for wynyard or burnie.
Brent archer is still a big chance of playing for yolla. He told plappy he would train with burnie and see if he likes it, from what ive heard they are all young blokes at burnie which might not suit him.
Mathew smart has been chased by yolla aswell to fill their vacant assistant coaches roll - not that you need 2 anyway since they have already got heathy.
If yolla get both or atleast one of them players it will be a good pick up for the demons.

I have heard from a couple of blokes that ben hayes said that no one in the darwin would keep up with him, we will just have 2 wait and see. How will he go when he is chasing blokes like j collins, braslin, patto, just 2 name a couple good on ya ( Aussie Battler )!!!!!

I didnt think collo was playing footy this year, and Patto??? benny used to be quick, wouldn't be able to beat a one legged dog in a foot race these days
, mind you ridgleys midfield wasn't the quickest going about last year and look who took home the spoils. slow and steady win the race, benny might just fit in.
