Commentators on 744 and Ch 7 have mentioned that a number of Essendon players are concerned about their future fertility. Dr Peter Larkin commentated on the dangers of injecting untested substances on 693 earlier this afternoon. You must be very young and naive to treat a danger to human health that medical practitioners are concerned about so dismissively.

Perhaps you are doing those things and posting on Bigfooty is an aside, if you are not, then you should be.

I don't believe I ever stated that it wasn't club instigated....not once in fact. Simply saying that if ever one of your club's found itself in a spot of bother, I hope your chairman (men) conduct themselves with a similar degree of integrity as displayed by Evans. I personally hope this never happens to your club though, whether its a drug scandal or anything else. Trust this clarifies my point.

So, if you want to test which one it should be, try saying it like...'you are kidding me!!'. Then you'll see that 'your a disgrace' is indeed incorrect, and should be 'you are a disgrace, or shortened to you're a disgrace.

My issue with carro is that she has difficulty separating opinion from reporting, they're often in the same article and makes it difficult for the reader to extract news from the editorial. She isn't alone its a technique borrowed from news limited refined by fox news. It's far to easy to spin opinions that way and strictly doesn't adhere to journalistic code.

I applaud tenacity and respect her views but would like more separation in her opinion from the reporting, everyone has biases but they shouldn't be intertwined with the news items.

If you substitute "There are" for "The", your post makes sense. It's the "may" part of that formulation that the 2 medicos, one of whom was Peter Larkin, who commented on 693 this afternoon got agitated about. You should too. You should be horrified that your club is prepared to risk the health of its players with untested artificial substances.

After seeing this drugs saga through the last 6 months, and now with only 2 weeks to go, Evans decides that his 100 Company staff are more important!!???(so much for loving the club so much!)
And then he has a supposed "turn" of dizziness in the rooms after the game?! Palease! Dont take the general public as fools! What a stunt!
If he's such a great bloke and bleeds Red & Black, etc etc, surely you wouldn't be deserting the sinking ship and leaving your "good mate" and a legend of the club, at the wheel while its going down. Or perhaps all he is concerned about is his own business profile and doesn't want to be around when the proverbial hits the fan, tarnishing his reputation??? Most likely.
It's about time all you Essendon supporters pull your blinkers off and wake up to the lies and smoke screens you've been fed to you. WAKE UP!

I think she wears both hats as chief football writer: editorial/opinion as well as reporter. I've always liked the fact she stirs the pot unflinchingly. If it is occasionally at my club, too bad, my club can stand to be scrutinised to the nth degree as well. No club is an island!
