Day 5 is here!!!!!!

Okay so as a 15 year old you can play up to 10 events, with 4 more to be added with performance clauses (this is relevant for Mirra and Coco when she went through). This number (10) is increased by 6 events per year until the age of 17.

Playing like she been on tour of a decade

There's so many Russian and Czech girls coming through, top 4 seeds in the juniors are all from there. It's an absolute nursery of talent

Bloody hell Russian tennis fans eating good

Only starting to see the influence of a really good academy there. I won't go into too much detail to bore everyone, but I'll use an example okay. Maria Sharapova used the Nick Bolletri tennis academy to grow and develop in the US before her career, there were a stack of talent coming out of that academy.

There have been a dozen of those academys set up in Russia and Czech, and this was a decade ago, we are starting to see them pump out players now.

Hahahah how unbelievably good is Andreeva? She is a star. Love watching her. Her tennis IQ is off the charts and it’s what sets her apart from so many.

Look at her cakewalk draw now! Do we dare to dream a semi?

Reminds me the last time a 16 year old made a semi.....Who was also Czech.

As long as she doesn't go out with Radek Stepenak, she should have a much better career than what Nicole Vaidišová ended up having.....

ps, Nicole now has 2 kids and is happy.

yeah, knew it is something like that. When Coco Gauff came through, there were calls to increase the amount they could play, but I recall the WTA stuck to its guns.

Might be more calls as these young Russian/Czech's come through but yeah the rule is as stated. There are perfomance allocations, so Coco actually played 14 as a 15 year old

Would love to see how she would handle Sabalenkas power hitting

Yep that will be a test and probably loses now however it's a matchup in the future I'm confident Mirra will win.
