Here is the new daily thread.

Got to laugh at all the aussie bogans and media carrying on about "the demon" after the usual show of form in the warmups, only to be comfortably dismantled by his first tough opponent in the Grand Slam.

EASY PEASY BABY:D

De Minaur will never ever win a Grand Slam :)

But that's ok, because he can still celebrate winning the warmups like he won one. :)
nice troll.

Shame you haven't been here since the start and voiced your opinion early. It is almost as if you were waiting for the right moment to show your face again

And he'll wipe his tears with his 10 million bucks of prize money

I guess the organisers don't know who Sinner is. Maybe Cahill needs to step in and request Sinner gets the night match. It would also help Rublev to recover if he gets through. I've been impressed with him over the last two sets. The only thing that would be better if it went to a Super TB.
Looks like Rublev is meeting his greatest nemesis once again - a grand slam quarter final.

Yep sure did but I am wondering if he doesn’t like the court and how that will change in finals.

Think he’s just unlucky that ADM was on his half only two men’s matches per day were available and one was Novak.

Comfortably dismantled? Does comfortably dismantled mean over 5 sets for you?
Yes, because set count isn't always indicative of how close a match really is, or how close the gap in class between two players are. Sometimes players switch off for periods of the match and Rublev is notorious for doing this. He's still a far better player than De Minaur and will beat him much quicker away from the Aussie bogan crowd.

Djokovic vs Medvedev in the US Open final of 2021 was a straight sets win for Medvedev, but that match still felt way closer. Even when Medvedev was a break up in the third, it still felt like Djokovic could come back and steamroll him. That's the difference between a champion like Djokovic, and a pretender like De Minaur who needs to scream "COME ON!" after 70% of his points :)

What's up with the posters who seen to take a weird pleasure in Australians getting knocked out.

******* weird - don't see it from many other countries in regards to their tennis players.

Not that I necessarily like seeing them knocked out, but the media hype absolutely gives me the shits. Talking about ADMs run to Novak is disrespectful.

You should have just started your post with “I’m a fan of Djokovic”. Basically implied by your Demon hate on this forum though as it is always the Djokovic fans for whatever reason.

This post says a lot more about you than anyone else.

Haha, he took a serial choker to 5 sets? The mark of a true champion LOL

De Minaur will never EVER win a Grand Slam :)

What are you achieving?

Comfortably dismantled what a load of s**t.

He's taken rublev to 5 sets.
In a quality display of tennis by both players too. Even this 5th set is great to watch as Rublev has just been so damn clean. ADM will rue missing a break point chance in the 1st set, take that and I think he wins this in 3 or 4.

Start of what, champ? I was here during "the Demon"s warm up tournament, where you bogans were trying to hype him up after beating a sore Djokovic. Certainly before you were here LOL.
Granted I don't live on this website like some of you.

De Minaur has beaten Rublev in Rotterdam, Milan and Washington previously
