It's offensively bad. Both clubs employ graphic designers. Someone was paid to design this and someone else was paid to sign off on this ffs.

It reeks of Koch doesn't it. Recast the most heated rivalry in Australian sport as an episode of the Care Bears where the main goal is to have fun.

The rivalry has hit a lull over the past couple of seasons because Port fans are incredibly disillusioned with club leadership and the Crows are getting the same way. It doesn't have the same effect when both sides think they're going to get smashed. It'll come back around.

Showdowns are difficult from a supporter perspective when most crow customers don't have a ****ing clue about footy and are so mentally weak they grizzle and complain on FB about how bullied they feel if someone barracks for their opposition while they are within earshot...

At the moment our lack of consistency also does not help with the atmosphere on game day but that goes for any game not just the showdown.

It’s embarrassing. It looks like John Olsen got his nephew to whip this up on Photoshop and got it made up at one of those boot cobblers in the middle of West Lakes Mall.

Back in the day you had guys like Tredders, Wilbur, Wangas, Mead, Choppy, Wakelin etc who were at the club or who had family at the club when the events of 1990-1996 went down.

They knew playing in this match was more than the regular game.

And likewise, the Crows had fellas from the SANFL that grew up hating Port.

Some of that lived on through the Ramsgate and Choppys big hit on (ex-port player) Rhett Biglands.

Back then it was spicy but in an honest way. The bannana throwing at eddy betts or facebook "banter" of today are just a bloody disgrace and lack the substance of the early days.

In summary SPP needs to k.o big sauce with a legit hip and shoulder then they can all punch on at the ramsgate amd we're back.

Ah thanks. I always remembered him with the slightly longer hair.

Pettigrew was another one who looked good as a forward so we moved him to the backline. Really nice kick for goal, which is probably why he was moved quickly to the backline under Choco.

Should be played in full before every home match instead of that mindless teeny bopper tripe they force us to endure.. Ffs what is wrong with people...no wonder everyone is sad and depressed before the first bounce. It's so fking annoying..

That's the template of modern footy.. It's so strange.. Best kicks in the backline.. Can think of a few around the league that can goal from anywhere but get stuck of the hbf. Smith Rich Houston Hartlett, just to name a few, theyre deadly in front of goal... Let's waste them down back... Meanwhile let's piss away wins by kicking 10-16 12-15
