Honestly find it easier to just allow myself to be taken by the BTs and just do the boss battle instead of sneaking around a large area when mission related.

I'm up to interacting properly with Heartman. Couple of deliveries into that chapter. Absolutely fascinating.

Im currently in Chapter 3:Fragile. Still taking my time going for that Plat trophie which doesn't at this stage seem to present any major challenges.

Wouldnt it be quicker to use Autonomous drones istead of Bots? Since this is supposed to be the future?
 
I spent my xmas break up at my mothers house, ended up downloading my game and profile onto a PS4 to show my brother and others the game, which ended up turning into doing quite a lot of progress. Several chapters and probably the most taxing chapters as well over the two weeks I was away.

Anywho, came home and turned it on and the saves hadn't uploaded to the cloud so I lost all of that progress, ended up deleting the game, I just can't go through all that again.

Happy to cop it, was around 15hrs of actual gameplay, not ****ing around doing deliveries. Trudging in the mountains. I just can't bring myself to do that all again.

Can't get a family member or whoever's PS4 it was to upload your save data?

Unlikely as I had added my profile onto the PS4 and then deleted my profile when I left.

It is a great game and the story kept me intrigued to continue the grind. One day I'll decide that the grind will be ok again as I know what I am doing and will re-visit, straight from ending this I went back to the latest Metro which I stopped playing for not entirely grabbing me.
 
I did the timefall farm pizza delivery last night. All roads built I thought this'll be a piece of piss. Get a truck, load it on and be there in 5 minutes. Then comes the champagne which completely ****ed my ingenious yet simple plan up. So it turns out I have to use a rack and pissbolt my way down there on foot. Just took my chances running through BT territory. Had a few hairy moments where I was chased and my speed skeleton had no power left but still got it there in 18 minutes with minimal damage for a Legend rating. :cool:

I mapped my route according to recharge stations.
 
Finished. Was pretty much all in on the story until the last few chapters but it got a bit silly for me, even by Kojima standards. Ending cutscene(s) nearly broke me, most ridiculous ending/credit sequence I reckon I've ever 'played', musta been there for 2 solid hours to get through it.

End game in general could have benefited from a bit more polish.

Giant whale aside, which was cool gotta admit, just a series of boss fights that you've done before. Probably needed a bit more variation there, chalk and cheese when I think of something like Metal Gear Solid

Anyone stuck around and "passed time waiting for the president's inauguration"? Worth doing?

I'm using that time to clean up. I read something the other day about possible dlc. Which would be awesome obviously because I'm getting close.

Don't blame you. Did a mission reasonably early that I'd screwed up and couldn't be arsed going back again. When the BT spawns in the exact same area I'd walked past each time before and didn't see the value anymore.

Story is great and it's a beautiful game, but if you have a pile of shame, it's hard to embrace the grind .
 
Is there an easy way to see what your connection level is with everyone? I 5 starred first prepper the other day (still giving out Santa hats btw) thinking he was the last one I had to max out but no trophy. :(

In options - bridge links - your profile, should be one of the tabs, NPCs or something i think.

Maybe you have one on the first map, port knot city was my last 5*.

Excellent. Thanks. I'll check it out. Port Knot may well be it for me too. I've never platinumed a game before and am hoping this can be the one.
