Robert Wohpol

Definition: Faceless man of WCE Football Club responsible for any and all woes befalling the club.

Source: Figure09 being the first one brave enough to call him out: https://www.bigfooty.com/forum/thre...f-adam-simpson.1163638/page-177#post-56614725

Context: "Hearing strong rumours that Wohpol was the one who pushed Cole into Kennedy at training, causing his latest leg injury".
I still don't think it's fair that you get to sponsor him, I don't remember him being available in the draft

I feel like every freo poster needs to be tagged in this thread. I know thats supremely arrogant, but, well you campaigners know what happens next

If you make my stats thread another goddamn thread about Priddis, you campaigners know what happens next.

These definitely need to be added to this thread.

"You campaigners know what happens next"

:)

Too far the other way

Playing more than one player on your team under the age of 23.

Source: An Eagles podcast lamenting that some fans wanted to see what the youth on the list could do.

"We could play that guy we drafted highly 2 years ago but we already have a 23 year old who has only played 55 games...you don't want to go too far the other way"

Closely tied to: WAFL fixtures fail young Eagles

Up the bloody coasters!

Alternate phrasing:

Definition:
An exclamation of jubilation (see also: Jubilant Masto) to denote when moments of success within the club, for instance when the bloody coasters win the bloody flag.

Source: Original author is one Scott "Lumberjack" Lycett, whom was heard shouting a variation of the phrase with vigour after an especially jubilant victory in Port Adelaide (still lol).

Context: "Oh hai, West Coast won the flag after an unprecedented run on key player absences, unexpected tactical changes and a five goal deficit in the opening quarter." "UP THE BLOODY COASTERS"

Note: Fist-pumps, beer skulls and chest-high-fives all optional.

Note: Offensive arm actions to be said in unison with the phrase mandatory (see above).

I think you campaigners know what happened next..

Definition:
A form of abbreviation to denote when something good happens despite inexplicably and seemingly insurmountably poor circumstances.

Source: Google "Mark LeCras" and "Offensive video"

Context: ndot said Adam Simpson couldn't coach to save himself and should be sacked.. I think you campaigners know what happened next.

I think we should let HT back and see what he does without the topic of 99% of his posts on the team anymore

They say there is no such thing as a wrong opinion.

But you're wrong.

#KingCole

Definition: Eagles premiership winning defender Thomas Cole.

Source: coined by the most handsome user on this board, Avishka5 in 2019 came up with original but brilliant nickname for his player sponsor.

Context: #KingCole hasn’t been that bad today guiz. Cut him some slack.

They say there is no such thing as a wrong opinion.

But you're wrong.
It's a social experiment. Does he go all in on Waterman now? Or does he pick another target and split his malevolence across two people again? Does he become a well reasoned and valuable member of the forum providing inside knowledge gleaned from Blaine and his chiro?
I for one think we owe it to the world to see what happens next.
