It will be interesting to see how he goes obviously you don't have too much faith in small rebounding defenders on your list if your going to draft him which is strange considering Grigg and Walker looked promising.

Anyway best of luck to Chris I never really noticed him that much when he played for Melbourne so doesn't really phase me.

.....but you noticed enough to know he isn't as good as Grigg (a player few opposition supporters would notice) and Walker who hasn't played back for two years.....

It phases you.;)

Grigg and Walker are both 190cm tall and run all day so I thikn we have different roles for them. Neither have great foot skills either - theway I read the interest in Johnson it's to help deliver the ball out of our defensive 50, if he gets a game.

To me Walker's best year of footy was 2006 when he was taking on all shapes and sizes across half back. He is very good in the 1 on 1's.

Mick Malthouse, Mark Williams and Rodney Eade would disagree. Even Roos was outcoached this year, but we couldn't finish them off when we had them down.

What makes you form this opinion?

Ok, so you named the teams that have finished 6th, 8th and 13th, wow! Roos was coaching a bunch of fossils and yet we didn't finish them off. Says a bit. Collingwood are an ordinary side with no midfield and a big list of injuries. I don't even need to bother talking about Mark Williams. If you want to play that game then explain what happened to Essendon, St Kilda, Hawthorn? Most of you are forgetting that our team have had a very, very good run with injuries which plays a big part in winning games, ask Mark Thomson.

You all might call me arrogant, and negative. But at the end of the day I call it as I see it. I hope Ratten stops playing favourites and gets his match ups right, I really do. Do I think he can develop that? He is a very young coach and he would be "smarter" as each year progresses.

Essendon - The first game we got lazy in time on, conceded 6 goals or so for the game in the last minutes of quarters (much the same as vs Tigers round 1). Not a coaching error (unless you can shed light?). Hille smashed us in the second Bombers game. Is Ratten ment to be magic and produce a ruckman mid match?

St Kilda - smashed by King in the ruck taking away an early 5 goal lead. Game 2 smahsed by King and Kosi in the ruck and Fev decided not to play.

Hawks - eventual premiers.......smashed us all over the park.

Fun game isn't it.

Your turn.
Point out the matchups or selections the coach got wrong that cost us thse games?

So which games and which match ups did he get wrong?
