HAWTHORN has decided to bin its controversial Power Rangers clash jumper after the 2016 season.

Fans will have an opportunity to design the new jumper by entering a competition on the club website next year.

Club chief Stuart Fox stressed originality at the Hawks AGM on Thursday night.

“Don’t come back to us with something that is just another version of brown and gold stripes. The requirement from the AFL is that it has to be predominantly white, so that had to be the starting point,” he said.
