Really need this next expansion out soon. Had to fight the urge to shard all my exotics and make a video of it last night.

Depending on included content im probably just about done with this game after House Of Wolves drops.

I did one Hard Mode Crota the other night and that's about all I've done this week. Just couldn't be ****ed anymore, haven't done nightfalls/weekllies or even grabbed the Gorgan chest.

I don't mind helping if people need it but in all honesty I think I'm pretty much done. I've done everything this game has had to offer (to date) and minus two exotics ( http://destinyexotics.com/?share=Iw1+gDBOy2UcJ85vR1tFJw50QAA= ) I have everything, that matters anyway.

I don't hate the game or anything, I'm just done until they add something new.

Well unless I get it from the gorgon chest (that I might pop on for quickly - who's got a checkpoint) I'm not really going to be able to get it as I won't be playing.

Maybe time to put some time into Mordor or DA:I

Ahh good. Lots of time to get to level 4. 444 into level 3 so need about 2000 to get to 4. Might give it a rest now it's starting to get a bit boring.

Just do the bounties on Sunday/Monday and you'll make that up in no time. Once the buff multiplier builds up you can crunch the levels in much less games later in the week.

I heard somewhere that you need to play for like 24 hrs straight to rank up to ib 5 on the first day. (No buffs)

Yeah. I reckon I'll do the bounties tomorow as well. At least the easy ones like head shots and 10000exp.
Im 1500 away from level 4.

By the way I ended up getting the raid chest piece in the raid. But I was almost level 3 IB rank at the time.
I'll still use the Iron Banner chest piece though. It looks better, has scout ammo and the ability for the raid piece is only quick reload for the oversoul.

So, after putting 60ish hours into this game I only just discovered that the tower has stairs on the north side that go to an upper level. I always just chilled out underneath. Yup.

Just a quick check in to say that I'm enjoying my new job, but find myself missing you guys a fair bit.

If you go to a specific area there is an invisible button that activates the fan on top of the postmaster building.

For the cruciblers out there;

Let's say you spawn at A on blind watch, enemy has C. Other members of your team go to B instead of trying to go to C to help flip spawns forcefully. You go towards C alone and notice only 1 other person on the other team guarding it. You kill him.

Now you are free to cap C and flip the spawn right? WRONG. THE FLAGS THAT YOU CAP HAVE NO BEARING ON WHERE YOU SPAWN. IT IS COMPLETELY DEPENDENT ON THE LOCATION OF TEAMMATES AND ENEMIES CURRENTLY ALIVE.

Once the other team notices their flag is being capped, they will swarm on you like flies on shit from B. You will die, and excommunicated back to A to repeat this process until you bang your head through a desk.

Instead, do this. After killing that lone ranger on C, hide somewhere near the spawn but not near the flag itself. On Blind Watch, this is in the far back behind the other door near where heavy ammo spawns at B. Crouch to mess up their radar. Going invis with bladedancer is even better. This will prevent their team from noticing you, and prevent the other team from spawning there when they die at B. Once you notice the other team has spawned at A, then you can capture C with no worry.

The direct counter to this is if you notice the other team rushing C, or notice one of your idiot teammates rushing A when you already have C, hide out near the spawn point at C and try to go unnoticed. Let them cap C even, just don't die and wait for your team to respawn at C.

This works very well on Blind Watch, reasonably well on Shores of Time, but mediocre on Firebase Delphi. These three are the most asymmetrical maps where it is imperative to control the good spawns.

TL, DR: Capping flags should be secondary to camping spawns to initiate the flip.

Last note: Yes, it's ok to capture the flag with the bad spawn. Just don't defend it.
