Lions re-signed Josh Reynolds to a two-year contract.​

The deal, per NFL Network's Mike Garofolo, will be worth a maximum of $12 million. The Lions reportedly "liked his leadership and his relationship with Jared Goff," with whom he played in LA before joining the Lions in 2021. Reynolds, 27, functioned as Detroit's No. 2 receiver for a couple months, seeing at least five targets per game from Week 12 to Week 16. Reynolds will have very little fantasy appeal unless the Lions struggle with receiver injuries in 2022.

Cant hinge everything on one go either. Lots of teams have 2 starters and 2 direct backups who were all drafted in the first two rounds.
 

Sports Illustrated's John Maakaron reports Lions DE Romeo Okwara (Achilles) "was not actively participating in team drills" during mandatory minicamp.​

Okwara is still recovering from a torn Achilles injury that ended his 2021 season in Week 4. One of the better players along the Lions' DL, Okwara was awarded a three-year, $39 million contract last offseason after a 10 sack season that included 61 QB pressures in 2020. No specific timeline has been laid out for Okwara's return, however defensive line coach Todd Walsh did share that he will serve specifically as a DE upon his return.

Lions placed DL Romeo Okwara, DL Josh Paschal, and DB Jerry Jacobs on active/PUP list.​

Okwara is recovering from a torn Achilles suffered in October and hadn't been participating in mini-camp, no real surprise there. Paschal was dealing with a vague "lower extremity" injury that limited him early in the offseason. Jacobs is recovering from an ACL tear in December.
 

Lions placed WR Jameson Williams and LB Natrez Patrick on the non-football injury list.​

This (or PUP) was an expected result for Williams, who is expected to miss the beginning of training camp at the very least and could potentially miss regular season games. Yes, it's a non-football injury because it was suffered in college rather than at an NFL facility. Yes, that does sound silly.
 

Lions S Tracy Walker suffered a torn Achilles in Week 3 against the Vikings.​

Walker confirmed suspicions on Monday when he took to Twitter to share the news. Walker has started every game for the Lions this season and was re-signed to a three-year, $25 million contract in March. Safety JuJu Hughes replaced Walker in Sunday's game against the Vikings and could be in line for a bigger role with Walker now done for the season.
 

NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports D'Andre Swift (shoulder) "could miss some time" after suffering a shoulder sprain in Week 3.​

Pelissero notes that Swift's injury isn't expected to require surgery, but that he could miss some time as a result of the injury. Swift played through the injury in Sunday's loss to the Vikings and has also been nursing an ankle injury over the last few weeks. Jamaal Williams rushed 20 times for 87 yards and two scores in Week 3, and would be a top-24 fantasy back in Week 4 against the Seahawks if Swift is out.
