Did anyone notice Shaggas 50m

Was a replica of last years game , he took a mark on the 50m went back and the coll player gave away 50m yet Shagga kicked from the edge of the box not the goal line ?

No one questioned the ump, just so happy Shagga kicked it....

Yes i noticed this, shagga did actually point to the man on the mark to tell him to go back to the goal line but the stupid canary in yellow didnt do anything about it - anyway who cares we beat those maggot magpies

When I watched the match on replay, I'm pretty sure that I heard the umpire call a second 50 just as Shagga kicked the goal, so if he missed he would have been given another shot from the goal line. I think it was due to pies players getting too close as he was running in to kick (or possibly because one of them was mouthing off at the umps).

Did anyone else pick that up?

Yes - heard the same thing. No doubt he had another kick if he had missed. Almost wish he had of now just to piss off the Colingwood supporters even more.
