Did the Port loss cost you?

With bets like that I would chance it you lose more than you win.

why would you say that?

i know a couple who had similar amounts on the Suns @ 19s through betfair.

i think people dumb enough to include Port in multis are the ones who would lose more than they win, not a bet like this

I only had port 1st quarter in a multi...so nothing. Feeling good, because I looked at other bets and bailed.

Yes I lost on Port at the line, but I much prefer losing at the line than losing on a short priced favourite on a club like Port Adelaide paying $1.03 in a multi. Putting a 1.03 shot in the multi doesn't make that much more profit than not putting it in a multi and people putting those short priced favourites in to boost the price by a couple of cents will lose a lot more than they win.

I was on Gold Coast at 19's on Betfair.

Wrote that bet off at 3/4 time.

Port are the most dysfunctional team in the AFL.

Range of other bets on GC too for the first quarter and half handicap.

Also on Port to be unders at 3/4 time and full time.

Very profitable day.

Lost out though on Suns +18.5 at quarter time (they lost the first quarter by 19 points with a point to Port just before the siren).

Also lost a 5.25 unit hedge on Port with a few minutes left.

I was also on Pies for LMS so that is still alive so far!

If you were silly enough to include them in a multi at 1.03 you deserve to do your dough.

Exactly right, whats the point of adding 1.03. even if your multi odds are 100-1, adding port only increases ot to 103-1. no point at all.
