yep, played for 4 years culminating in a premiership with Ovens and King 3rds side King Valley, with Mark Porter (North, Carlton) and Leigh "Juice" Newton (Melbourne)

Rory Slone.
He played for Upwey-Tecoma and kicked 5 goals + and had about 40 touches every game.

Played 10 years of junior footy in QLD with David Hale. 6 foot tall at age 12, used to kick regular bags on everyone. Skinny bloke and a lil soft tbh - think thats why it took him 10 years on the afl books before becoming elite. A memory that sticks with me is at about under 15's our state coach gave us a blast and said "none of u blokes will get a spot on an afl list the way things are going - except Haley". Way to single the bloke out....he turned bright red...but that statement ended up being true. Was always a nice kid and stoked he had a fantastic afl career.

Played(u14's-colts) for club (Pomona) and Sunshine Coast rep with Alik (suns) and Rhys Magin (dons).
Played with Ash Sampi for about four games in 2014 at South Hedland Swans, and in one of those games Leon Davis was lining up for the other side (Karratha Kats).

My younger brother played with Jamie Cripps on the school footy team. Apparently he was a bit of a FIGJAM, but I never met the lad so cant confirm.

Patrick Dangerfield robbed me of a premiership by dropping down from the Anglesea firsts once they got knocked out of finals to play in the seconds. Was BOG.

I joined North Ballarat just as Plugger was being drafted to the Saints. Heard some stories about him even then.

Played with/against a very cheeky, scrawny Michael 'Pickles' Evans, who went on to injure his back a lot and scrap it out in a woeful Demons outfit. Nabbed 27 touches of it on debut.

I filled in for a juniors game at roughly 14 years of age and one very confident Jack Darling presented for the opposition. Played mid and I can't be sure how many goals he kicked.

Didn't play football but I did play basketball against Jobe Watson. There was little indication then that he ever become an athlete.

Played footy against Nathan VanBerlo. Was decent until u16s where he started absolutely dominating. Josh Smith (ex north melb player 11 games or so) was in his team too, thought he'd be a star. Kicked 6+ every week.

Played on the same team as Steve Malaxos at high school, for a couple of games. Took a chest mark from one of his stab passes once- nearly crushed my ribcage.

Played junior footy against Liam Hendriks. He switched to baseball and is now playing in MLB earning a shit tonne of cash. The biggest thing I remember about Hendriks was his dad was the coach and would always give him the biggest sprays. Needless to say poor old Liam was in tears most games.
