Didak getting rubbed out has been on the cards for a couple of weeks now, hopefully he will now pull his head in.

Lucky for Essendon...as I rate Dids. That said, it's usually a good competition between he and Welsh.
What he did was worth a week.... he shouldnt have appealed it. Burns on the other hand, if he doesnt get off it's a crock.

As usual,the tribunal is anti-collingwood. They've shown the past 3 years they don't like us. Any other team would of gotten off. If Burns doesn't get off Collingwood should take it to the courts.

Gehrigs was worth at least a week! Was twice as bad as the one he got a week for.
The main problem I have with this is regarding the discount for pleading guilty. All year when a player has gone up pleading guilty but attempts to change the grading from reckless to negligent, even when they fail, they still get the discount.
Except for Collingwood. Especially when they're playing Brisbane and Essendon in the next two weeks.
An absolute travesty. I would have copped one even though the incident was trivial at best, and you could pick out another 20 from every round that are worse, but come on.

Wakelin even said he was staging for a free kick and the contact was very minimal.

Thing is,.... it was worth a week. Balme and the boys should never have challenged it. Was always going to be 0 or 2 weeks after tonight.
