Dids was in the car ...

I am in another state and support another team - but all these incidents involving ALL clubs proves one thing to me -

Dumb footballers stay dumb....they just don't learn ....so unless you get rid of him, the same stuff will happen again ...sometime...

I am not having a shot - Adelaide had its share of this too....

Thompson from Adelaide gets charged and has a jail sentence suspended for reckless driving and endangering lives and you could hear and ant fart around here.

Didak lies about being in a car with a drunken driver and people are calling for blood and the Herald Sun runs 6 pages.

Reality check people.

Key ingredient for your boys - Alcohol.

With 750+ men aged from 18-30 you are going to get a share of idiots. I don't think it's any greater than the general population of that demographic.

Cuzz wrong side of 30.. like I said.. the line will go around the corner

What a load of rubbish, wrong side of 30. Have you seen the physical condition Cuzz is in??? Harvey has been wrong side of 30 for 6+ years, quality is what matters not age. Cuzz has a Brownlow and a premiership medal to prove his worth, what has Didak got? It must be noted that I am about as far from being a Cousins supporter as there is, but I know which one I'd put in my SuperFooty team!!!

Yes ... it is a reflective sample of the population, however the salaries and celebrity afforded AFL players these days means they cannot do stupid things without everyone knowing about it.

These two have embarrassed the club, president , coach and their captain - hard decisions will have to be made.

I always feel a bit for lads that get into strife - it's not like they are axe nmurderers, but the general penalties imposed on the rest of society do not apply here.

I evryone sure that didak wasn't the driver?

I heard a whisper that this may be true and it woudl make sense as to why he woudl be so desperate to cover it up.

Anyone lese heard this?

He should of drove because i was at the geebung sunday night and didak was pretty sober where as shaw was off his dial as was ben johnson

The only reason anyone would go to a hole like the Geebung club on a Sunday night is to try to score some female company... same with all the other places our boys have got into trouble... perhaps Collingwood should open it's own escort service... :(

Give them all $5000 worth of Cabcharges and I bet they would still drink drive because they are too lazy to wait 15 mins for it to come... drives you crazy.

and the reason for that being bad is??????????????????????????

Thanks for completely ****ing me over Jimmy. You better make my 41/1 the win come good on Brownlow night ya bastard!!!!!!

I still believe that when it comes to the crunch, we wouldn't take him, but the only way we will ever find that out is if Dids does in fact end up on the trade table. For now though, i'm crawling back under my rock lol.

The law of probability is against you over time.. there's only one way to beat the casino.. go in 1st time, bet once, bet big and if you win walk away forever.. over time the bookies will always get you

Since 1998 I have only lost money on the Brownlow once - in 2000 when Woey won it. Every other year I've got the winner at very good odds, except Crawf in 99, and in 2003, when I didn't bet as I liked Bucks but he was too short. Instead I went in a competition where I had to nominate the top 5 finishers that year, closest the pin, winner take all. OF course I won, took all the money, and made a shitload more than if I had just backed Bucks straight up.

Every other time I bet I'm breaking about even, but on the Brownlow, I make a killing every year :D

Could you please enlighten me on who will win so i can also make a killing.
Do you bet straight out, pick top 3, best rising start other types of brownlow bets...?

It's a race in 3 this year. One of Ablett, Bartel or Boomer Harvey will win it. I've had a bit on each throughout the year, and will be loading up on a couple of quinellas as we get closer to the event.

I also have a few quid on Geelong's leading votegetter if we don't have anyone who is a genuine chance, just to add a bit of value :D

A good poker player can play with an edge. Of course in poker the house never loses, they just take rake.

Also, a blackjack player playing a 6-deck shoe and counting cards can play with around 0.5% edge over the house.

Sports bettors can find instances where the bookmaker puts up inaccurate odds or lines, these are also mathematically profitable situations in the long term.

Essentially, all other common casino games etc. are losing propositions.

Sports arbitrage is a guaranteed win but it takes a lot of time, patience and money.
