Anyone know where I can get some Portello in Melbourne?
Wimmers softdrink had to change their portello name to portino(same recipe) due to coke having the naming rights. Most IGA supermarkets would stock wimmers so that would be my first place to try.Anyone know where I can get some Portello in Melbourne?
Milo bars. They've ******* disappeared!
I want them back - in the original form - where they were basically a whole bunch of milo just stuck together in a block somehow and covered in chocolate.
Do space food sticks still exist? I haven't seen any, but then I didn't exactly send out a search party.

I know this thread is super-old but I'm just so excited to find someone else out there who remembers Big M brought out apple and walnut flavour! This calls for an emojiBest BBQ sauce i've ever had. I still have a couple of bottle stashed away in the cupboard (that are still in date too )
My mum used to drink Tresca all the time. Very much like a bitter lemon drink, but with just a touch more sweetness. Also used to be quite fond of Torino. No one has mentioned Mello Yello either.
Loved that sundae, but I actually loved it with the pop rocks. Also loved the cherry ripe thick shakes.
When they first came out, I sent away and got the free blue wrap around shades you got if you sent off three cool shark wrappers.
Pretty damn close there. I used to get a Blueberry big M in my lunch order with a hot dog and a Jiffy donut (another long gone food favorite of mine) when I was in Prep/Grade 1, which was 1978.
I also remember when big M released their low fat versions in tetra packs about '82 or '83 and they had Choc Orange, Apple and Walnut, and Lime flavors.
And to those who remembered Ollie's Trolley and Wendy's - my two favorite take away places going around when I was a little tacker Good to see someone mentioned the Yumbo too. Myself and one of my mates still lament their decision to can it after all these years.
Some others...
Arnotts Jaffa Cakes
Cadbury Squiggle Tops
White Wings museli flakes
Choc Dot Crispies (already mentioned but I still pine for them )
Arthurs vanilla yoghurt
Fred's chew bars
Scanlens gum
Beechies chewing gum.
Popsicles (the ones where each flavor represented a member of a rock band.)
Chilli and lime munchero's (also already mentioned, but I can still taste them now...)
BBQ CC's
Mc Feast
and a beer for good measure....
Moretti La Rossa
It's still out there, but a couple of years back was bought out by Interbrew who changed the recipe. It used to be the maltiest beer going around, now it's just sickly sweet pap.
Pretty sure you can still get supreme Pizza Pockets?Chickadee Chicken & Corn Schnitzels
Pizza Pockets that aren't Cheese and Bacon
Chicken Tonight Chicken Cacciatore
Smiths Thinly Cut BBQ Ribs flavour (loving the Teryaki Chicken ones atm)
Birds Eye Crumb-in-one
Four 'n' Twenty Party Pies (the rectangle shaped ones)
Tiny Teddies Chocolate flavour (200gram pack not the party packs)
Leggo's One Pan Gnocchi Napoli
Fixed it.Pretty sure you can still get supreme Pizza Pockets?
I remember when Westons was a biscuit company.I remember when Arnotts was an Australian company
Biscuits have gone down a steep slope since they got taken over
BBQ shapes used to have so much flavor on them
Tim Tams need 2 pay up and get triple choc to get the original
The classic Big M Egg Flip. Can't imagine what kids would think now if they saw oneI know this thread is super-old but I'm just so excited to find someone else out there who remembers Big M brought out apple and walnut flavour! This calls for an emoji
