Thought i would start a thread devoted to tips. I will also start one for final lader predictions.

There were prizes donated last year - not sure if they are on offer again? Monniehawk?

My Tips

Gembrook 26 points - The unknown Warby??? How good are their recruits??
Upwey 41 Points - How much will the big name losses hurt Olinda
Woori 10 Points - How far will Woori drop off?
Healsville 15 Points - Big step up for Yarra - Might take them a few to get into it
Mt Evelyn 35 Points - Praccy match form ok from what i have heard.

Don't know that I'm brave enough to make margin predictions, but for what its worth;

Warby vs Gembrook - I bleed green, who else would I tip?:)

Upwey vs Olinda - Upwey are a quality side. Hard to gauge how much Olinda's departures will hurt them.

Woori vs Monbulk - Plenty seem to think Woori will drop off, but I'm not so sure. Write them off at your peril.

Healesville vs Yarra Glen - Its always difficult to draw an early line on a club making the transition up a division. By all reports Yarra Glen have recruited well and will be competitive in Div 1. Healesville at home is enough for me to go with the home side.

Mt.Evelyn vs Wandin - Mt.Evelyn may well be the big movers this year. Definitely top 4 potential. I suspect they will prove too strong for Wandin first up.

Upweyvs Olinda - Upwey are a good team, but have heard they have a heap of injuries.

Woori vs Monbulk - Everyone think Woori are gone, still a good team, probably game of the round

Healesville vs Yarra Glen - Yarra Glen to make early impact

Mt.Evelyn vs Wandin - Mt.Evelyn will be to strong at home, although I think it will be a lot closer than everyone thinks

game is actually at wandin mate, but i agree it will definitly be closer than alot of people on here think. mt evelyn will present a quality outfit but i think those that show up will witness a much new and improved wandin group.
 
Warby v Gembrook - Brookers the side to beat in 2011, very well coached and I think its list has improved.
Upwey v Olinda - I love you OFCFCFCFCFCFNC, cant wait !
Monny v Woori - still too many good ones playing for the Tiges, ruck will be pivotal, monny picked up a goody and big fella rucking for Woori ?
Wandin v Mt.Ev - Mt.Ev are a good unit, is Smith injured ? He is a star and him not playing could change my opinion.
YG over H'ville - I've gone the home side with the flag unfurling etc. Some really good players in that team, will win as many as it loses this year.

agree gembrook will win it this year .
olinda to beat east ringwood vets.
monbulk will be fitter and better than woori.
wandin will surprise mt ev. rumour is gastro may be running havoc through the mounters camp..... watch this space........
yg vs h'ville, dont really know. ill go with h'ville cause they got stolly!

Last week The Wall tipped all 5 correct - fair effort!!! Four others picked 3 winners being McCavity, Rip it Up, Over Rover & me. The rest scattered on 2's & 1's

Big round this week. What are your tips?

Gembrook V Woori -
Both last year’s grand finalists will be looking to get on the board this week after disappointing results Rnd 1. Gembrook at home & in front of the 1986 Premiership Team who are celebrating the clubs only ever Div 1 Prem should be too strong. Brookers by 21.

Healsville V Warby -
Both impressive in Rnd 1 wins. Warby very impressive and look to be the better improved of the two clubs when comparing opposition last week. Although the game is at Healesville, I think Warby by around 45 points.

Monbulk V Upwey -
Again both winners Rnd 1. Monbulk’s win super impressive however Upwey appear to be the better team on paper. I think Upwey will be far too strong and win by around 30 points.

Mt Evelyn V Yarra Glen -
Hard to judge this one as not sure on Yarra Glens form, but based on Mt Evelyn from last year, it would be hard to tip against them. Mt Eve by 40 points.

Olinda V Wandin -
For me this will be the close one of the round. I think Wandin will be an improved outfit but not quite strong enough to beat the young guns of Olinda. Olinda by 11 points.

Gembrook vs Woori. Brookers will beat an improved Woori
Healesville vs Warburton. Tough. Two who promise lots, but Warby more real.
Monbulk vs Upwey. Monbulk haven't improved as much as they seem.
Mt.Evelyn vs Yarra. Glen Time for the Rovers to show it.
Olinda vs Wandin. Bloods are a force again.
 
Mt Evelyn v Yarra Glen - YG will struggle this seaosn. Mt Eve by plenty
Healesville v Warburton - Warby by 15
Olinda v Wandin - Olinda by 12
Monbulk v Upwey - Upwey easily
Gembrook v Woori - Gembrook 30
 
Round 2 tips- bit harder this round than round 1.Gembrook- 76 points. Bounce back in a big way from last week and last years grannyWarby- 9 points. not playing any practice games my take a toll on Warby on healesvilles big ground, may be underdone but think they are the better teamUpwey- 37 points. Upwey to good for Monbulk hereMount Eve 15 points. if was @ Yarra Glen would pick them.Olinda 20 points.. Pushed Upwey should be to good for WandinWhat the tip 5 pay last week?????????lol
 
Mt Evelyn v Yarra Glen - Mt Eve by 50 points
Healesville v Warburton - Warby by 10 - may struggle on big ground late in the day.
Olinda v Wandin - Olinda by 25
Monbulk v Upwey - Upwey 15 - still plenty of injuries at the tigers will make it close
Gembrook v Woori - Gembrook 60 unless Woori get plenty back from VFL

Ha - would have paid ok as well Wall. I think most blokes picked 1 or 2 right so the kitty would have been large. Lets hope you can get it right again based on your tips.

To be honest, this is shaping as the most even season in memory !
