It's a good footy story. After last year's loss in the Grand Final, it's great to see SP as Premiers.

Not the same.A Tom Smith played at East Burwood. Wouldn't be the same would it?
Thank you. When asked I did say Smith is pretty common. Not the same.
I think these are the current rates.Out of interest folks. What was the salary cap for divvy 4 this year ?
Thank youI think these are the current rates.
Salary Cap
Premier - $100k
Division 1 - $85k
Division 2 - $70k
Division 3 - $60k
Division 4 – $50k
That's a lot of money for some clubs and petty change for others.2023
Premier $110,000
Div. 1 $93,500
Div. 2 $77,000
Div. 3 $66,000
Div. 4 $55,000
We're still only at ~70% of where we were pre COVID, aren't we? And well under Northern and EDFL caps?
Yeah, I'm not complaining, just clarifying. The story I heard was that EFNL was bleeding top end talent into NFL and EDFL because they had fully reset their salary caps last year vs EFNL's staggered approach.

They recruit every year and get the same outcome.Forest Hill seem to be busy on the recruiting.
Have they announced anything? Nothing I could see on socialsForest Hill seem to be busy on the recruiting.
mostly ammos clubs around hawthorn. swinburne uni, richmond central and hawthorn amateur all in that area i think. closest eastern league club would be balwynNew to Melbourne this year and considering pulling on the boots. I played half a season last year. Looking for a team suggestion for a side because I don’t know what they’re like and from my limited experience, a good culture is wroth travelling an extra 5 mins for but you can’t really tell that via Facebook.
My footballing talent is shockingly underwhelming unless bouncing the ball on the run and I’ll likely be the smallest on a side. But I suppose I have some degree of pace, particularly for ressies. It is likey I’ll pull off two remarkable things in a season and being spectacularly underwhelming, albeit enthusiastic, for the rest.
Something competitive but not too competitive would be ideal with some understanding if work means I miss a game or two. Any suggestions for a side, league or level? If anyone knows of sides with a severe player shortage in the area below, I’m more than willing to play for them, too.
I live in the vicinity of Hawthorn if that helps. Thank you!
Any others closeish with lower grades? EFNL is attractive as it pays (student so anything - even just rego paid for - helps).mostly ammos clubs around hawthorn. swinburne uni, richmond central and hawthorn amateur all in that area i think. closest eastern league club would be balwyn
