Do Bradburys really count?

So let me get this.
1)We're a bigger joke than Essendon

Yep. You haven’t won a legit final for 21 years or a flag since 1995 and you cheated that one. Since then you’ve won 5 spoons. Essendong have done better as have all proper clubs

2) You laugh at the thought of Gov, Williams, Kennedy, Silvagni, Durdin being top 22

Correct. What’s your win% without them?

3) We beat you with the VFL replacements of those 5 Marchbank, Cincotta, Dow, Pitto, Fogarty (Plus also without McKay, Walsh & also Cerra for 2nd half) . Literally a third of our best team out

clearly they’re not in your best then

Let's say Sydney or Gws or Carlton fluke a flag this year 'cause their opponents are injured, so like vultures they pick the bones.

Should it count?

I think the fairest thing to do would be just go back to whoever finishes on top wins the flag! Until we get it sorted out anyway.:cool:

Have your say...
Well in Collingwood's case the Argus system's right to challenge won them a number of flags including the 4 in a row and since it was removed they have knocked up 27 failed attempts to win the flag, so I'm sure Magpies would like it back, the rest of us that like to have earned the right to win the big game on GF day may have different opinions.

So Essendon is better than us but beating them in a final doesn't count. Bizarre logic

Not sure but I can tell you Pies are 12/15 with Sidebottom but were 1 Colliwobble kick away from being 100% without him.

We just don't need to play our best to beat you. We are that good.

Dude, you beat GWS in a GF,

What a shame that no one else can remember them, 3 flags since B&W TV came to Australia and 2 since Colour TV arrived, what a short highlight reel your club must have?
So only games that Tiger2709 from bigfooty remembers should count?:drunk:

GWS beat all others to get there and had never lost a GF before hardly our fault that we smashed them, we did the same to Collingwood in 1980 is that also a Bradbury, in fact are all GF wins against Collingwood Bradbury's?

As for 2020 Covid it will be recognised in AFL history as one of the most difficult GF's to win in the history of the game, not to mention our great supporter base helping to keep the AFL financial over that grim period in history.

"It's difficult to mount an argument that Richmond's 13th premiership - their third in four years - wasn't their hardest-fought to date. After months on the road, myriad off-field dramas and a first-up finals defeat to the Brisbane Lions, the Tigers overcame the early loss of a star player and a 22-point second-quarter deficit to claw their way back against Geelong in the grand final at the Gabba on Saturday night, securing back-to-back premierships for the first time in 46 years."

“The 2020 Toyota AFL Premiership Season will be remembered as one of the most challenging in the history of our game, but it will also be remembered as one of the most special,” Mr McLachlan said.

In all seriousness, there is no such thing as a Bradbury Flag, sometimes teams do get lucky (like North and Tigers in 1999 and 2019 cause * and Colliwobbles shat the bed in the Prelim) but a flag is a flag.

Pitiful Collingwood have only won 2 flags in 60 years (coming up to 70 soon)

No surprise those Vermin are trying to discredit other hard earned premierships, bitter jealous Wayne Kerrs

He called it "challenging" because your peanut captain and his wife almost got it cancelled because of their selfish behaviour

Clearly Bradbury flags count, eg 2008 and 1970 are celebrated hard by the undeserving clubs that pinched them.

You could argue 2010 was a Bradbury, in that Geelong self destructed as they de-Danked and De-Bomber Thompson'd which you have to admit is a lot like tripping over on ice.

Every Premiership requires luck, unless the local newspapers are taking a popular vote on who won but no one in their right mind would try and count those as real flags.

It was challenging because the Geelong crowd all tried to leave at half time and forgot that Richmond station was 1,784KM away.

Most of Collingwood's flags in the 20s, 30s and 40s should be Bradbury as almost all VFL clubs sent most of their players off to war, but draft dodging Magpies were so selfish and gutless they kept all of their Mummy's boys homes and thus won most of their flags against mostly teams comprised of teenagers and cooked old farts.

Disgusting Un-Australian Club
