The number of days since the Swans last beat the bulldogs.

Coincidentally this may also be the very bus that ran over them on Grand Final day precipitating their current malaise.

We invited Swans to banter and run amok
But geez your poetic posts really suck.
Was hoping for a spark, a light, a joke
Or at least a reminder of their Grand Final choke

They try to block out that fateful day
They blame the umpires for the loss
But with the Dogs' recent record against the Swans
We were always going to show them who was boss
They try to blame the umps,
But their effect was S.F.A
When we played-on from so many frees,
And Hanners went soft at the ball

(It rhymes, trust me)

All the pressure on you guys this week. Swans have been terrible this year, and just got beaten by a terrible Hawthorn team. It is an important year for the Bulldogs, as this is the year where the Bulldogs prove if they fluked the flag last year or if it was part of something more. Will you guys become a genuinely very good club of this era, or will you be a footnote before the era of GWS grounds the rest of the competition into dust?

meh GWS, we already have it over them like we do all the Sydney based sides

Grand final day was at the G
Swans were pissed we got all the frees
Easton was great, especially his hit
Swans were hot happy, who gives a shit

Dale managed to bring buddy down
Then it was up to Tom to kick the sealer
You could hear the cheers from Footscray town
Swans needed to bring in a nightmare healer

(i'll get back to my day job now)

Why are we talking about the Giants in a Dogs v Swans banter thread anyway? Just to get it back on track...

The Swans tend to take an extra week off after a bye, and the bye is the 'only reason' we are now affectionately known as the reigning premiers.. These two scenarios can only mean one thing...

We perform best under pressure.

We have won our past four against you, two of them at the SCG.

We have a 3-0 record under Bevo the week after having a bye.

Round 12 is the Bulldogs' most successful round, with a 64.67% win Percentage (58W 31L 3D - 63.0%W, 33.7%L, 3.3%D).
