The new patch on PS3 is a treat, game runs so much smoother. Also like skipping it when I'm not on strike in career mode, let's me keep my concentration longer 
No more batsman slipping out of his crease when I play and miss.
Had a rather interesting BBL. In 7 innings I was not out five times, thus averaging 40.5, despite having a HS of 26*, and had a season SR off 77. Left it to the rest of the Stars to carry me.

Now that there is another Don Bradman Cricket coming, I have a few suggestions for the career mode.
-16 year olds don't get selected for every shield/p40/t20 game. It could be related to performance, but you shouldn't be playing many games. It will quicken up the career and make for more realistic stats (who has 4800 List A runs at age 18, I do.)
-Select which formats/leagues to participate in. I've made the Australian T20 and One Day sides. I'd like to know if any of our ODI batting lineup go and play 10 forty/40's for Warwickshire, like I have to do.
-Make the lineups more dynamic. I'm tired of playing the exact same sides, with the exact same people. It is also weird how you automatically replace the person who bats at the same spot as you, regardless of how good they are.
-Not really career mode, but please please please make spinners actually turn the ball.

Biggest thing for me is changing sides in career mode. Playing alongside the same names for 20 years defeats the purpose of a career. Especially in the BBL where the sides change so often. Needs to be way more dynamic in general, like dropping players on form, old players retiring, or even just the option of manually changing rosters (by player input or "get best" again) at the end of each year.
I loved getting the ODI captaincy at 17

Late player of this but picked it up for $10. I'm playing match practice. I'm doing something wrong. I'm facing spin. I either get one thing perfect or none at all. I wait for the ball to bounce play a shot and it's perfect. Or I choose front or back before ball is bowled and it's perfect but the shot is wrong.
Spinners are a bitch, I just block them out, especially Johan Botha, I'm his biggest bunny in the history of the game.
Finally scored my first century after 5 seasons! Against a bowling attack of Siddle, McKay and Pattinson.
Where did you get it for a tenner?

Took me a while to get used to actually having to concentrate, as Ricky Ponting were the only other cricket games I'd played.

About 10 or so with my pace bowler. Got 5 in an over once in a Big Bash game iirc.
Playing with my Bangladesh All-Rounder atm. Batting has fallen away a bit in FC but bowling is top notch. Got my first 5-fer in the Shield
I took a hatrick playing as Russia against my mate who was Kenya.
