Definitely agree there. Still got the disc but doesn't work on XP. Very frustrating.

Just purchased "Move Street Cricket" off EBay. Can't wait.....! Finally another cricket game! :thumbsu: and for less than $40 delivered....! :thumbsu: :thumbsu:
 
If I could create my own cricket game without any limitations, I would ensure that:
I encorporated various domestic franchises in the game e.g The Big Bash League, Indian Premier League, Sheffield Shield, Ryobi Cup, county cricket
More international competitions - world t20, champions league, ashes, actual tours (playing club sides for warm up games) world cup etc
More realistic gameplay - batsmen actually approach an innings how they would in real life e.g David Warner will have a completely different approach to the opening overs of a test match to Ed Cowan, more realistic bowling actions (unlike those rubbish ones in Int Cricket 10) get real bowlers and use their actions and al batsmen play realistic shots (don't hit Yorkers over gully for 6)
A more involved fielding system - possibly pressing a button to dive for the ball or flick the ball back in the field of play before it reaches the boundary (or at the very least make sure that the fielders look like they attempt to stop the ball, diving over the ball)
Customisation - above all make sure that the customisation in this game is more detailed, in Int Cricket 2010, There were only 4-8 possible custom teams and only 16 custom players, even then Australian and English licensed players could not be placed in custom teams, larger squads (30 +to cover all aspects of 21st Century cricket), 100+ custom players and 20+ custom teams
If they could do this I would be a very satisfied cricket video gamer

I was just saying what my ideal cricket game would be but I see your point. However, I do believe that they need a more indepth customisation with 20+ custom teams and 100+ custom players. Also the ability to used the players from licensed teams in custom teams would be greatly appreciated
 
I would literally sell my kidneys, my left nut, my brain and sacrifice my sister, dog and girlfriend for a good cricket game. Its been a lifetime of waiting.
 
Surely we getting closer to announcement? I saw a pic on twitter last week of some western warriors playing playstation and I thought that maybe they got an early release copy.....or are we waiting for rugby league 2 to be released first?
 
My favourite cricket games are still the Ricky Ponting International Cricket 2005 and 2007 games. Loved them!

Yeah the controls were very good in those games as they were so simple. The bowling actions look like they were based on real cricketers actions, rather than those pathetic ones from international cricket 2010.
 
If anyone is interested, the great man Ross has posted quite a bit of information over at Planetcricket. It sounds really promising with a career mode promised. Ross has described it as his pet project. :thumbsu:

Why would you want them to 'suck on it' anyway?

Ross mentioned the table top stuff a long time ago. I believe there was a baseball or something else as well that they were doing in conjunction with it.

This will likely give some decent insight on what to expect in certain aspects of the full on cricket game to come whenever.
