Damn, can't believe that in the States people are being charged $50-60US to watch it!
Seems like UK are the cheapest for wrestling PPV's.
I am very curious about this show, and might actually bite the bullet and get it on Fite. Never got anything from there before, but seems like it could be worth it.

Unfortunately, I can't see Ambrose/Moxley making an appearance, even though I would love it to happen.
Even less likely, even impossible that we see Punk appear, as he is booked on commentary for an MMA event same night 500km away. Would rather not see him anyway.

With 4 more open spots in the Battle Royal, and it now announced that the winner gets the first title shot against the winner of Omega/Jericho, you would think so, unless they are planning on building up someone big time out of the already announced names (surely won't be Shawn Spears (fka Tye Dillinger) or Joey Janella). If the Hangman/PAC match is officially off, could they instead throw Hangman into the Battle Royal, as he seems to be being pushed as one of the faces of the company going forward.
Would think it would be hard to find a big name replacement for Page on such short notice.

I hope that there are some worthy surprise appearances though. Even though they have managed to build a pretty good roster, and have a pretty nice card already.

Lance Storm seems to think that wrestling fans have friends-- he obviously doesn't understand the wrestling fan base in 2019.

There's Americans who have to work 10 hours to make $50.

That’s longer than Brock Lesnar has ‘worked’ since returning to the WWE in 2012.

darn, can't use free FITE credits on this show. :(

Yeh, I just noticed that too! I was spending hours trying various coupon codes with no luck, bar the $10 sign up in bonus mobile credits. Adding to the $2 credit for liking their Twitter page, thought I was going to be able to get it for under $20, but no go :(

Still haven't ordered, waiting till last moment in case I stumble upon something before Sunday morning, but did notice that when you go to order on the Fite website, it says it's $19.99US, which works out to be $28.90 according to google, whereas via the app it is $30.99AUD.
Probably will be charged a currency conversion fee of about $2 anyway, but still! :p

Looks like there using the old double entrance stage tna used to use.

Hmmm, not sure how I feel about this ... Still, excited to see it all taking shape! Bring on the weigh ins and presser this morning!
Anyone ordered any of Starrcast II? I could not justify the price, considering most of it is just live podcasts that are normally free to listen to online.

Wasn't my favourite thing. But least it's different. Least they have a proper ring.

I feel sorry for Shawn Spears— leaves the WWE because of poor booking and now gets booked to be eliminated in a battle Royal on the pre-show by AEW from a guy with no legs.

Even Tommy Dreamer lasted longer in the match than Shawn Spears.

That was a fun battle royal. Some of the jokey stuff concerned me but it’s passable I guess in a battle royal.

I like the play by play commentator, the other dude seems to be whispering into his mic like a solemn Michael Cole

It was fun— but for “We’re not WWE....” they’ve taken the most used battle Royal/Royal rumble cliche of the past decade and copied it.

Why did they announce that MJF was still on the outside and then like 10 seconds later be shocked that MJF "he's still in it?!?". That spot is over done and did nothing to make the battle royal better.

Maybe I've got too high expectations of AEW-- but I expected more from that. Let's see how the rest of the show goes (and yes... I have purchased it on Fite)

Glad Page got the win, although it was pretty obvious. Just hoping at least a couple more surprises tonight, and not just random "legends" appearances.

I think my new favourite wrestler is Luchasaurus xD

Noelle Foley is there!!

EDIT: I was trying to think of a positive rather than the 'original' owners of the company unnecessary promo that puts themselves over.
