I had a mate at school called Dougal McNaughtan

as to the topic, I'm a Queen nut so as is
with Bonnie Tyler and Johnette Napolitano contributing vocals.

well blow me down, it is the one and the same, I remember going to his house to watch pornos that I hired because I was the only member of the group over 18. His byounger brother didn't move for 2 hours afterwards.

Used to live off Canterbury Rd.

Nice guy.

What is a ska band anyway?

Ska is like a sub genre of punk. Add to your standard drum, bass and electric guitar a trumpet, trombone etc. Ska music is generally pretty quick. Most bands have like 7+ members. The best example i can think of that people would know is that song by the mighty mighty bosstones - knock on wood.

Jimi Hendrix, Jeff Buckley, George Harrison, Eric Clapton and Dave Gilmour: guitarists

Paul McCartney Bass, John Enthwhistle bass

Keith Moon with Ringo on drums

Billy Preston on electric organ

Stevie Wonder on keyboards

Badfinger on acoustic guitars

Peter Drake: steel pedal guitar

alternate on vocals where appropriate this band would take some beating. With John Lennon and Ringo providing cameos.

But if you are going for unique then consider the following:

Bob Dylan, Yoko Ono, Kate Bush and Celine Dion. I call them the travelling tonedeafs and add some of Jeff Lynnes lavish production and they could record an album with Yoko using Johns name to promote it.

"All we are saying................ is to give tonedeafs a chance"
