Ayce Cordy and Jordan Roughead any chance of a round 1 debut? How has their preseason been?

Doubt either will play this year, if do at most 3-5 games for year unless we had shocking run with injuries, Minson and Hudson have the ruck and Skipper (unfortunately) is prob next in line if one gets injurred.

I wouldn't include Griffen in your dreamteam or Supercoach team. Same with Higgins. Both are nursing potentially long term injuries which threaten to derail their seasons. The club is keeping it quiet.

You're best value is Cam Wight and Wayde SKipper. Both are cheap buys and the word out of the Whitten Oval is that both are going to tear it up this year.

Don't waste your money on the relatively expensive buys.

Skipper likely to take the key forward spot and rip it up.

Ogle is value too. On the verge of senior selection as we speak...:thumbsu:

Saying that gives everything away.

Hows Hargraves preseason. Do you guys expect him to have a break out season. I love watching this bloke play and atm have him in my dt.

If we get Tommygun on the park, expect Rocket to use Shaggy more creatively, including a stint in the forward pocket. Agree he is good to watch due to his good leap.

G'day Dogs fans. Why does Gia get so little TOG? He averaged just 87 minutes per game last year (12 less than in 2007) and always seems to start on the bench. Is it an endurance problem? Can you blokes see his (DT) numbers improving this year? Also, how has his pre-season been?

Cheers:thumbsu:

He didn't have any pre-season last year (knee injury) which is probably why he was used less.

He's great at stopping the little blokes but Callan, Gilbee, Addison and Morris are good for this spot too. I'd say our back six would be

Callan Lake Morris
Hargrave Tommy Gilbee

Then Addison on the bench to play mid or defence (where ever he's needed)

I think his ball use is good but he won't get more than in previous years as he's too valuable on the small blokes.

I wouldn't have him IMO (did but changed my mind). Maybe expect a small increase if he doesn't have to play on a tall bloke meaning he doesn't give away any frees.

The talk of him playing forward is likely as a backup option to provide some versatility as opposed to a Hunter type role where he's an ace up the sleeve

As hujsh said he didnt have a pre season last year. He has had a couple interruptions, but he's had much better pre season compared to last year. His numbers should improve

Eade has mentioned that Grant is expected to play 5 to 10 games this year. I am pretty sure he will get an opportunity early in the season, it is up to Jarrad then to see if he makes the most of it.

I am thinking about Jarrod Harbrow I've got a feeling he's ready to bustout and he is not over the top in SC whats he been going like this pre-season. Is he worth a gamble?

I think not, there's a big question mark over his decision making so can stuff up a fair bit and he doesn't kick a lot of goals. His scores should improve a bit more but probably not enough to get excited about. I'd choose someone like Riewoldt or Houlihan over Harbrow

I think he is worth the gamble. Rocket thinks he's in our best 22 and looks like he might have some stints in the middle and on the wing. Won't make you much cash but will get some decent scores
