Thanks.

Yeah I will have him but I am tight on cash and looking for a cheap second ruck that will play the first 5 or 6 games till I am able to upgrade.

Do you think he is a certain starter?

I assume you're talking about Warnock. You'd be absolutely mad not to have him on the pine, he will play 22 if he stays fit and has looked reasonable in the pre-season. bonus is that he's looked very mobile and has good hands. Out of the 3, Hampson is probably most likely to be dropped.

Hey just wondering what you guys think about Robinson
In the next couple of years will prove why he is the "steal" of the 08 draft.

He was great value last year as a cash cow, but not sure this year. I haven't taken him. I think he will be inconsistent and probably be in and out of the team a little.
He also plays a physical style of footy that I suspect his younger body won't handle for a couple of years and so will probably miss some games through injury.

Will be a very good player for CFC but I wouldn't take him for DT or SC.

Whose that likely to be with Carlton's highest backline DTer Waite going into the forward line?
Thornton by a mile. Plenty of marks zoning off and they always switch through him.......the Dustin Fletcher of the CFC......except he can actually stop his opponent too.

Does Carlton have a go to man who plays the sweeper role across half-back? Whose that likely to be with Carlton's highest backline DTer Waite going into the forward line?

I haven't even thought about this myself. Maybe because it's probably divided through several players in Thornton, Bower, Scotland, Russell and Armfield.

Probably Scotland will be the highest scorer out of those boys.

Hey just wondering what you guys think about Robinson

I see him rising to an 80 average after a few good games early on, but then trade him. He will be played forward but rotate through the middle, loves to tackle, likes to kick, can take a mark and if the NAB Cup/Challenge is anything to go by will be kicking goals. Not going to be a keeper but should be good for an upgrade.

P.S. Keep this to yourselves but he'd be a better cash cow than say a Masten who everyone is all over

Also the irony of that last statement considering I just posted it on a web forum doesn't escape me, sometimes I just can't help myself

Thanks for the info, I agree with you on Masten.. Dreamteam isnt his game and Robinson should hopefully outscore him this year.
Robbo is in ;)

PS. You can delete your post now if you want :p

I presume Carrazzo is easily in the top 18...can someone confirm?

I read on the Round 1 team and someone put him outside the best 22?

No way, the kid is a gun football player (and DT/SC)..

Has poor disposal and will be used more in tagging roles this year. It is difficult to define his role but more than likely he will be playing more defensively this year

Carrots doesn't have poor disposal. He has in the past, maybe 3-4 years ago, but has improved dramatically, just naive to say he can't kick. He plays to his strengths and is an important member of the team.

His role on the other hand no one knows for sure. If I would take a guess it would be a range of roles from tagging jobs in the forward line and back line to being a part of the midfield rotation. He is a ball magnet though and should still score well as he can rack it up quickly. Probably have really big games and then quieter game when he is tagging.

Basically he is a risk re his role and there are better options around the same price, but if he is playing midfield jump on because he has the ability to average close to a 100.

Hello Blues Baggers

Just after some info for SC for my 7th fwd, what is the feeling on Yarran? He's priced at $233k. What can you see his role being this year? Is he likely to be in the best 22?

Like the price, high draft pick who I personally think can increase his average to 65-75 and make a little coin.

Thanks fellas

Thanks for the feedback guys...

It's quite tricky as with Gibbs, Judd, Murphy around Carrazzo will tag...

Also, besides off-field issues, is Walker a lock in every week? Cheers

Your right that is just a hangover comment but his disposal is not anywhere near elite and in terms of efficiency he can have nightmare games (also some absolute rippers). Nonetheless I think he will be used to sit on Half-Backs like Sam Fisher and occasionally on mids. He probably won't be consistent

Hey guys,

You've probably already been asked this a thousand times, but what are your thoughts on Kreuzer and Warnock, from what you have seen over the pre season?

Will Kreuzer play as the number 1 ruck, or will he play predominantly as a key forward with Warnock the number 1 ruck?

just hoping for some feedback on Jarrad Waite and Andrew Walker for supercoach this year.

how much do you think they will average?

what role are they likely to play?

both appear to be good value, providing they stay injury free.

Walker's a steal imo. Ive got him in my team, only concern is durability

I've read a few good reports on Marcus Davies, do you believe he will play round 1?

Looks like a good player, big ready made body, but i doubt he'll get a gig from rd 1. He's competing with a few others for a HBF spot and i'd say he'd have to show some form for the ants unless we get a few injuries.

Also wondering about Yarran. Just had a read of the "22 questions" thread and alot of people think Yarran's gonna play quite a few and get a place in the best 22. Anyone give us some more info on role and likelyhood of games?

Cheers

Will play forward as either HFF or FP as he has improved his fitness considerably since last year and has looked dangerous in the NAB cup. Will not get much of a run in the middle so his scoring won't be excellent but judging on his NAB Cup form is ahead of Gartlett for a second small forward place alongside Betts who has the other one locked in.

Marcus Davies round 1?

Highly unlikely, but stranger things have happened.

If he's playing on Friday against Adelaide, he'll be in with a big chance of round 1, but I don't think he'll be there.

Far more likely to come into the team at some stage during the year for a few games after impressing in the reserves.
