Giles and treloar i like.

K stevens from west coast deserves close attention at 104k with his ability will be a great get if he makes our 22. We have a lot of depth this year so wait until round 1 to pounce on kobe if he makes the team.

Rowe and Mitchell I have heard are very close to the 22 but not guaranteed. I would think 'Must have rookies' are those that are likely to be round 1 starters...

I think all of Shiel, Treloar, Giles, Zorko and Wingard are all probables for round 1. I'd like to see Smedts, Wilkes and Walsh line-up too, but its unpredictable with the KPP's.

I wouldn't have any of those as must have rookies, Rowe is injurred and will wiss NAB cup so early opportunities are gone and Carlton will likely start with Hampson/Kruezer/Waite tall setup anyway. Saad a maybe but seems more a succession for Milne, small crumbers don't tend to score well and Swans often hold young players back in first year, much better options than Mitchell.

Stephenson and Giles are must haves and everyone should have one of Ellis/Morris.

Not sure his positioning will result in huge numbers - but with Patton out I'd expect Jeremy Cameron out there every game. Probably a bit much to expect Setanta and Israel to carry the forward line.

Dreamteam Mature age rookies/Rookies

I just started my dreamteam and supercoach yesterday i didnt do so well last year because i didnt buy cheap mature age rookies/rookie becuase i didnt know much about them.

does anyone know any cheap selections this year that would play every game or close to every game theres are the ones ive heard of an bought

hello just about lee spurr he isnt eligible to play a game yet because hes still on the rookie list & sam menegola is likely competing with him to be first promoted but if he gets promoted he should play most games ............... i would watch the nab cup before asking about all these players because its all speculation and itd just be guess work at this stage.

As said in the post above, making a team at this time of year is based upon a lot of guess work. It is easy to make a spine (choosing your guns, and leaving spots for your rookies), but until the NAB Cup, it is quite hard to choose the rookies that you want in your side.

Just work on your spine for now!

Obviously this is pretty subjective and there's plenty of underrated and overrated players in this list which many people will differ on but its a good effort getting some names out there personally Shiel is my number 1. Kobe stevens will rocket up in price if he is given full games but that is no guarantee at all at this stage so nobody should be putting him in their team until after the nab or until the round 1 teams are announced.

I don't know much about rookies on the Victorian teams, but Koby should definitely be ahead of Crozier.

I think if Crozier gets a game this year he's already overachieved - he's got ability but he looks like a twig! (That didn't stop a certain N. Fyfe but he's a special exception)

Koby is far more likely to get a game.
