I think Wonaemirri is injured, not entirely sure though.

Backs: I would downgrade Guerra to Drummond, both players are inury prone but i fancy Drummond to score more. You might be able to upgrade Adcock to Cornes or Burgoyne if so.

Mids: Downgrade Ablett or swan to 380-400k player such as Pendlebury or Selwood and upgrade Masten or Mcveigh. I dont like McVeigh as he plays for Sydney who I reckon will be the worst Dream Teamers this year.

Rucks: Dont know if Giles or Sellar will play much, try Graham

Forwards: I wouldnt get Riewoldt right now, someone else. Gartlett wont play much.

If someone could rate my team it would be great, it seems alright but I have the feeling it could do with some real improvement.

Just wanted to know some peoples thoughts on certain ruck combos.

Im guessing Cox and HMac will be fairly popular this year. Are people prepared to have Hmac as the second ruck for the year or are people shelling out extra $$$ to get Hille or Simmonds who potentially score better than Hmac. Is it better to choose Hille for the extra 80K at the start to achieve a possible higher total points or would this 80K be better spent elsewhere and just going with HMac, and getting a lower average. Im making the assumption here that Hille will score better than Hmac.

Just wanting to ask the question. As it is now, i cant decide as to what option to go with. Im stuck.

holy crap!!! you team is almost exactly the same as mine for backs, rucks and midfielders... but our forward line is very different.

Figured I'd take a punt on Johnson with Hunt's injury - he was cheap and preferred him over another rookie. Not too sure about Mackay - think I'm picking him with my heart not my head.

New team after some playing around.

Backs - Hodge, Cornes, p.Burgoyne, Mcmahon, houlihan, Raines, Grimes (Hill, ???)

Centres - Gablett, Cross, Dalziell, Gibbs, Rich, Anthony. (Robinson, Beams)

Rucks - Hille, Lade

Forwards - Pav, N Brown, Davis, Lovett, higgins, Skipworth, Ziebell. (Sidebottom, ???)

Bank: $26,900
??? = to be decided.

Im not hugely keen on starting 2 rookies in the middle, but i did have T. Selwood and thats now anthony and ive upgraded to drummond to Burgoyne, Who no one seems to have am i missing something there??

But other than that im quite happy with it and its a bit different to the usual team.
 
I'm unsure why more teams don't have burgoyne in their backs either. From what i have read in an online article he will be given a midfield role this year to help booster ports clearance work.

He played in the midfield for the last two games last year and had dream team scores of 151, 130.

He's a sure thing in my team!!

From memory he was in and out of the team last year. Nearly dropped because of form, and he is getting on a bit. Injury history not great either.

You recommended swapping 1 injury prone player with another one and then to get rid of Adcock who is reliable and moving back into defence where his numbers will rise, for Burgoyne who is past his prime and injury prone. Good idea :thumbsu:

Special Agent, also consider Mundy and Gram who are in the midfield rotations.

Probably one of the better teams I've seen so far. The risk of Drummond and Malceski is something you'd be well aware of, but recently I'm also questioning the upside of Malceski. High injury risk, but also high risk of not improving his average much. I've traded him out.

Edit: I didn't see Ellis there. I don't think he's fit for R1.

Ellis will miss the first few rounds of the season.

Has Malceski had any problems in the pre season? I think Haselby is a bigger risk, he's been seen with ice packs on his knee and is well above his usual playing weight. I'm not touching him.

totally agree there with haselby. i initially had him in my team but he didnt really impress me in the nab cup. may be ok come mid season but i think he will take quite a while to get going.very risky proposition

also not touching scotty lucas. he has been horrible in the nab cup and i carnt see him averaging over 60 this year got rid if him for krakouer .
