Dudley J Farklind retired with an average of just 3.0 goals per game. pathetic for someone labelled as the GOAT by many moronic Hawfies and period stains.

3.0 GPG is less than the great Bill (who) Mohr who averaged 3.8
Here's a condensed list of other GOATS who averaged more GPG than the bloke who was regarded as the only Full Forward of all time who couldn't take a contested mark.
Harry Vallence 3.5
Jack Moriarty 3.9
Simon Beasley 3.7
Sel Murray 3.8
Fred Fanning 4.0
Tom Reynolds 3.3

Have a happy retirement, wishing you no more 11 week league enforced "calf injuries".

Good day sir!

GOAT half forward flanker, but not a great pack mark or even a physical presence so leave out the FF talk.

The fact he is so tall leads brainlets to conclude he's a KPP but hes less of an arialist than Jamie Elliot who is 4 foot 1.

Basically a rich man's Jeremy Cameron.

Stay at home full forward for the most of his career, he can't mark but that doesn't change his position.

So a FF that leads and gives second and third efforts on the deck but isn't a marking target...it's like we're talking about a forward pocket or flanker...

As good as his career was, he never reached anywhere near the heights of 2008 ever again, which was pretty disappointing. I do agree that he is a bit overrated when you look at the numbers
Basically this.

The calls for him to be made an instant "AFL Legend" remind me of the Joel Selwood hype late last year. Very good player for a very long time, but hardly a legend.

Think kicking 1000 goals (the last man to do it until Charlie Curnow xD ) qualifies Bud Wah to be a legend IMO.

Has a lower goal average than GAS and despite this is considered a better player and will be an AFL legend when the other dud isn’t and stuck on the team of the centuries bench.

Gotta love it.

GASnr is a barely sentient human who lacked the IQand interest in being a team player.

Bud was team oriented at both Clubs. He spent most of career as a roaming HFF or chf.

Three others had more goals but they were specialist full forwards as was Wade the abject Cat and Norf campaigner. Was personally very happy Bud pushed Wade downs spot.
