We need to be very very clear here. If the lady in the video approved touching … which there is a very good chance she did …. then there is zero controversy here and Dusty has not done a single thing wrong.

You can debate the morals of it all you like, but touching a breast if approved to do so at a private function away from the prying eyes of the public is completely acceptable behaviour on any measure.

If you came up behind your wife at a private party and touched her breast and someone leaked a video of it, would there be any controversy?

If …. if ….touching was allowed, then we need to be very clear not a single disrespectful action or behaviour has occurred here. As I said, people may not like the behaviour and may not engage in similar behaviour themselves, but not a single thing wrong has occurred here … not legally, not morally and not in regard to respect to women.

Let’s not assume this lady is not a very strong and intelligent woman who provided approval for touching because it meant she made $10k and not $5k on the night…. it’s not then Dusty’s responsibility to not touch because of the moralistic opinions of the public.

Strip club or no, in my experience, there is no better person at establishing boundaries than strippers. As soon as someone over steps those once, everyone knows about it. What if the person never wanted to be identified?
If the lady in the video was never wanting to be indentified then the person who captured these images must be held accountable and it will be at the womens discretion as to where to go from there.

How will I feel of the women comes out and states she felt pressured because of who Dustin Martin is?
Personally Ill feel pretty sad that it has taken this women 5 years to find the strength to make her feelings public and I would hope that Dusty recieves the appropriate education about the effects what his actions can cause (if he has not already received such).

I’ll now repeat my question to you.
Will you still have a problem with this video if the women openly comes out and states she consented and had no issue with this?

Ok, i have further thoughts around this and we are on the same page on a key area. The media is blowing this up effectively that it’s a disrespect to women-borderline sexual assault issue.
What i want to know is if the HS has sat on this, why wouldn’t they take it to Vic Police, Richmond, the AFL, Carr and Dusty? Surely that woukd be their duty of care?
And i have stated numerous times, i do have concerns around the impact on the female here. She has been thrown into a crazy situation here.
And keep in mind, assaults etc have no timeframes, so don’t worry about the 5 years thing.
And if the investigation shows she was stripping or hooking and it was “part of the agreement”, then play on is the call.
But, right now, in today’s society, it’s a terrible look. And we do have a violence/disrespect issue with young men and women in this country.
