I didn't see a thread about Russell, so I thought I'd just post this in here:

His barracking for the Crows in the final minutes of the Showdown last night was hilarously ridiculous. His excited "27 points down, 4 minutes to play..." comment that was instantly shut down by a firm Jason Dunstall "No" was one of the funniest things I've heard in ages. I'm not saying the commentators should shut up shop if a team has a decent lead in the dying stages, but he was acting like there was 1 point in it or something.

Some classic Dwayne Russell hypocrisy the other night on 3AW.

Dwayne was saying that SEN stage managed the whole Grant Thomas "dogged it" comment to get more publicity because they only have a 4% listening audience, and that they only did it because other media would take the comment/issue and make a big thing of it. The funny thing was that in the next hour of the show, Dwayne played the Grant Thomas audio grab, four times on his show.
