Someone called Mark Neeld thought it'd be a good idea to make Trengove & Grimes joint captains, when there was obviously a far more suitable leader in Nathan Jones. Fast forward three years and Grimes is delisted and Trengove has hardly been on the park.

Unfortunately Grimes just wasn't AFL standard when the kinks got ironed out, and someone like Neeld showed his total inability to manage the coaching by making decisions like this.

Trengove might have been a good player if his body held up, he was obviously a standout junior but his body totally failed him. It was a shame.

Sylvia played quite a few games where he just dominated (Just ask Richmond supporters). Toumpas is by far our worst ever flop, and it is a strong field

Sure JON was a complete disaster - but he was a project, and afterwards West Coast gave him a second chance (no good there, either).

No club has 100% success rate. Im really happy with our first rounders since the Deledio draft. JON, Vickery, and Conca were misses. But also some absolutely key premiership cogs and stars in Cotchin, Martin, Vlastuin, Riewoldt and Rioli.
