watching the 7 news and it was reported that chad fletcher was announced clinically dead on the flight to L.A but was revived

This rumor is so silly. Its not true. Does anyone see these as character assassination or what? Jealousy is a curse

That was the worst story I have ever seen. "Football world in shock". Pfft. Bigfooty members were discussing this just a couple of weeks after it happened and channel 7 claims they broke the story and have sent the football world in shock. Please.

It was in his hotel room, it has been confirmed, and Chad is still alive. It just annoys me that everyone knew two months ago and channel 7 claims it now.

you just cant handle the truth can you embers????

and as for 'channel 7 exclusive' try 'big footy exclusive' about two months ago.

What truth. He had a allergic reaction to a vaccine shot and was in hospital. He lost 8kg. The end

While I agree with your sentiment, the burden of proof between an internet chat site and a nightly news service is a bit different.

There is no doubt everyone in the media were aware of the inclident, it is only now that channel 7 had confirmation from the hospital that he was admitted and spent 4 nights in hospital.

Up until that point, everything is speculation and open to legal action if broadcast.

i remember there being something very suspect about this story? The vaccination he was supposed to have had he didn't actually need. Maybe a Yellow Fever vaccination to go to a country in South America, but when you look at the immagration website, it doesn't say anything about needing a Yellow Fever vaccination.

Thats cos he wasnt going to Mexico, it was for the 2 countries he was going to after. Forget which ones but one might be Colombia

Just out of interest, what makes you the authority on the subject?

Because I remember my roommate was ringing around for like 5 days trying to find out what actually happened. He found out some stuff but not enough for anyone to actually report it. It seems like Channel 7 went the extra step to try and get the "story"

So we're to believe your "mate" has a better network of contacts than CH7?

me thinks if embers so called 'info' was correct that the eagles and fletcher himself would have been on the front foot today setting the record straight. and it wouldnt have been hard to do either.

eagles fans just point blank refuse to accept that there is a serious alcohol problem at their footy club.
