it's a great show i reckon. last nights show was great and the variety of guests is making it such a great show. if the people that have been asking why are we getting all different sports guests and tweeting this is an afl show. well if they have watched the show from the begining, eddie said the show would be just talk show with all kinds of guests

Yeah, that's what 360 is for. It's good to hear from a broader spectrum. Even umpires.

Also, didn't know Hill was responsible for the first-down line either, has made watching the NFL vastly better imo.

I'm really enjoying this show. Love the wide variety of guests from the non AFL world (e.g. Harry. Billy etc). Probably due for a Rebels player next

Interesting question Eddie asked David last night about why is Soccer so unpopular in AUS and USA (from a professional point of view), and David basically just said its because the best players (i.e. the 'heroes') are always going overseas.

This is something the AFL should capitalise on (and I think it has to date) in NSW/QLD. Need to continue to develop the grassroots to have players of the ilk of Carey (NSW), Dunstall (QLD), Hird (ACT) etc and for them to remain in their home states

i can understand a lot of people switching off while After The Bounce is on.

Yeah agree with you there, just a bunch of fat middle aged men trying to be funny when that's not really their game.

Eddie can be a bit of a pain but give him credit for getting some worthwhile guests on. I could have listened to David Hills thoughts on TV sports coverage for the whole hour.

This week's episode was fantastic, best guests he's had on so far, could have listened to any of them for longer. :thumbsu: Like the way it's not solely focused on football, the broader perspective suits the show (and is a nice change on the channel).

Thought some of Hill's comments were very interesting, especially when he was talking about the coverage of the game in the states in 80s. Something the AFL really should be thinking about with their push into the Northern (and even international) markets. WSC coverage and inventing the first-down line, the man seriously knows how to do sport.

Last night was fantastic. I thought the Billy Slater interview was good, and then David Hill was just fascinating. Like everyone else has said, that could have gone on far longer, very interesting.

David Hill is a very interesting man, and I, too, could have listened to him for the entire hour. And I applaud Eddie for putting on an open-minded show. Bravo!

Also, the night Grand Final is something I definitely want to see happen one day.

David Hill was fantastic and whether you like Rugby League or not you just simply have to admire Billy Slater and he interviewed very well as well.

Only problem is I only caught the replay of the show on Monday night and only managed to catch parts of it.

I looked for the show again to IQ it but it is not on after 6:30pm Monday night.

The show needs to be replayed one more time during the week. Even iof it is at 3am Wednesday mornign or something at least then I could have iq'd it

EMT has just replayed audio of New Orleans Saints (NFL) defensive coach Gregg Williams telling his players to target, and if necessary, kill opposition players for money. I'm glad the NFL has suspended him indefinetely, and I'm also relieved that the AFL has no place for this kind of behaviour. I know most coaches would do anything to bring victory for the team and its supporters, but this is way over the limit.

Greg Williams wouldn't have been the only defensive coordinator to give a speech like that. The ACL stuff was out of line but the rest isn't out of the ordinary for the NFL. It's the culture they have and it's a culture that Roger Goodell is trying to change.

Not a big fan of this show so far. I like Eddie but can't stand this show.

Tonight ep was pretty crap

First segment was ridiculous. Eddie thinks he can find Melbourne a sponsor! Bit offensive to Melb directors...(even if good intentions)

Jack Thopson was okay

The NFL clip was a bit over kill. While it had a level of shocking we didn't need Fralwy

Pretty much a big bore fest. Prob just had its last chance with me

The NFL stuff was unbelivable, fancy trying to take a guys ACL out? Was the best segment of the show since it started which isn't such a great thing. Eddie seems to want to keep pushing the multi cultural aspect of the game, which does get a bit boring after 4 or 5 weeks. The segment with the advertising guy was a whole heap of nothing. For something that was meant to be about MFC they didn't get much of a mention. Jack Thompson seemed to be half pissed & didn't really add much to the show at all. It gets a bit tiresome to hear Eddie get some quick reference to Collingwood in between questions during the interviews as well. Had high hopes for this show but its not that flash. He can get high profile guests but I don't really care about Kewell or Slater, i'm watching a footy channel so thats what a want to watch. Eddies not much of an interviewer either, acts far to blokey & matey. I'll give it another couple of weeks but I think he needs some big stories to come out other than multi cultural issues because as I mentioned earlier its boring.

Didn't mind the NFL audio segment. Something that wasn't mentioned and could have been examined is the second round picks being taken off New Orleans for 2012 and 2013 as punishment. A little research before the segment is all that was needed.

Im glad someone else thinks this was the case. Seemed like he was on another planet!

I enjoyed the last episode.

- The MFC sponsorship talk is more embarrassing than anything sinister. Still, I liked hearing from Harold Mitchell and Jack Thompson, even though they didn't add a lot - perhaps they'd be better guests on a different show. The unedited Greg Williams recording was my fave bit. Mainly because it was unedited. :p Spud was a poor choice for the segment though.

And I didn't know Cat Stevens...Yusuf Islam lives(d) in Richmond? Bachar Houli better become more well acquainted!:
