Have started to hear a few murmerings, as I'm sure a few others here have, that Bucks may not be so keen on the Magpie coaching postion if offered due to the way Eddie goes about things (in a nutshell)

Regardless of the issue being fact or fiction, it offers and intresting scenario.

Who would you rather if you could only have one? Eddie as pres, or Bucks as coach?

Uh-oh another Eddie thread. These all end up the same way, with the serial pest and his never-ending list of accounts abusing anyone who offers a differing opinion.

On topic though, firstly I disagree with that they can't work togethor. IF true the club isn't going to get rid of Eddie just so they can have Bucks. Bucks is unproven and while I'd still love for him to coach us one day I don't really think we need to move heaven and earth to get him.

Eddie as Pres.

Bucks is not a proven coach. When he does start coaching he will no doubt be in the business a long time. We are not rebuilding. We are pushing for a premiership in the next 4 years. Let him go somewhere else for 5 years. If we don't have a premiership in that time then start thinking about getting him back....If he is any good.

Vote 1 Choco 4 Collingwood!

I think it was trying to hint at this thread being a bit of a conspiracy...

I don't really know though in the end though... I just didn't have much to contribute to the thread I think :)

Eddie, everyday of the week and twice on a Sunday....
It would be a disaster to have Bux as a walk up coach in this age of professionalism. He needs an apprenticeship, work with a club other then Collingwood and get another perspective on the intricacies of coaching...
...for mine Choco if we go experianced....and Hardwick if he dont. Hardwick has workied with Choco and come from a proven capable system working with Clarkson now.....

Bux is a disaster in the waiting...

No 1 Eddie cant leave without being voted out by the members or he pulls the pin himself, I for one want him to stay he deserves a flag under his tenure after what he has done to bring the club back from the brink

It would be a bad move if Bucks coaches us straight away without exp he needs to do a assistant somewhere else

Im leaning to Choco with Burns as assistant, if Mick stays then his style has to change he also deserves to go out on his own accord after 10 yrs 2 RU 1 3rd especially he has done okay not great but not bad either especially after the list he has had over the years
