Dear Stan,

I seen this one shit on the news a couple weeks ago that made me sick
Some dude was drunk and drove his car over a bridge
and had his girlfriend in the trunk, and she was pregnant with his kid
and in the car they found a tape, but they didn't say who it was to

Last time in the reserves

Round 8, 2008
Lang Lang 12.6.78 def Catani 4.3.27

A 51 point margain is quite a bit in reserves lucifer. You may have been missing a few lucifer but Langy has a much better side in than they had that day. Cat Dowson, Brett Burns, Chris McCurdy and Troy Thom are all good reserves players. None of who played last time.

Curdy is a catani boy at heart and will surely try his best to see langy get spanked on the weekend (wouldnt we all)!!
 
Cora Lynn were just too good for the Goon yesterday in the 2s. Goon did have their chances yesterday to get back in the game with quite a few forward thrusts that just didn't result in goals due to poor disposals inside the forward half, which was very dissapointing! Hopefully Goon has a good week on the track and come next saturday will give everything they have to get their place in the grand final and have another crack at the cobras!
 
Why did Sam Cole not play for LL 2's on sunday? I see Aiden Brown from the 3rds played, i reckon he might have been the difference. Apart from Brown LL lacked a big target at half forward, was prob the difference in the end cos LL prob had more of the ball i reckon.
 
It is pretty hard to drop guys from the reserves for 3rds players. There were already 5 guys that missed out on a game for us on the weekend. I don't really think it is in the spirit of country footy to stack your reserves team full of thirds players for the finals and have guys that have played all season miss out.

Seniors is different, sure play your best team. But when it comes to reserves I don't think it is win at all costs. You wan't to keep as many people as possible happy and make sure they keep coming back to the club. If that means the difference between winning or losing a final than so be it.

Fair enough, too. I reckon we could have had at least 2 of our thirds play against you guys last week, that had been playing seniors in the last 4-5 games. But we just played our reserves players who were there most of the year. As a club, you need to do the right thing and the result notwithstanding, we, the selection committee reckon we did just that.
