Not that your shallow minded or live for your lunch hour or anything huh?

I'm tipping you wouldnt go face to face with him and say that, would you?
spot on buddy probably wouldnt but the reality is hadfield arent exactly flying at the moment in b grade.

Of course there are people that do there at Hadfield. Hadfield did play better footy last year and by all reports will do the same this year.
Maybe they should just tell B grade their season is over because of drought. Then we would not have to put up with this dripple about B grade *hit.

Snce Tarz left North Coburg to go to Avondale Heights and then returning home I cant imagine him leaving the Saints. Since he has links to West Coburg then maybe but I doubt he will go to Marby. If he is purely after some coin then marby is where he might end up.

Tarz has been training with a division two club in the eastern suburbs.
ill get back to on where he is playing for sure.

I find the B grade bashes the funniest people going around.
I mean do they realise their hipocracy? If B grade footy is crap and who cares about it then the same can be said for A grade and in fact for every grade of footy under the AFL.

After all if we want highly skilled quality footy thats where it is. That is the true A grade. Anything under it is to a degree a form of B grade footy. SO B grade bashes I suggest you start bagging A grade as well because it is plain and simply another form of inferiour football.

Granted A- Grade footy has nothing on the AFL thats obvious but for the usual mug who loves the local competition B- Grade does not provide the same skill or interest as A-Grade from an outsiders point of view. Everyone here would rather watch AFL ahead of VFL and its the same when the EDFL is concerned. Fair enough both grades do not stack up against AFL but A grade is the superior here.

Of course.
However your hypocritical comment suggesting that no body cares or should care about B grade proves your ignorace.

If it is worthwhile supporting a lesser competition than the AFL like EDFL A Grade then it is worthwhile supporting a lesser competition than that such as EDFL B grade. Even still it is worthwhile supporting an even lesser competition such as Riddel League footy.
Just because its a lower standard doesnt mean it is not worthwhile.

Yeh thats fair enough mate i guess your right. just because it is my opinion that B grade is not of equal importance doesnt mean i should throw it on you and everyone else. sorry mate

Dont ever remember saying Haddy where flying, all I did was answer a question on Glen.
Then you felt obliged to piss into the wind about who cares about haddy.

The fact is haddy isnt going well, the fact is 'B' grade isnt 'A' grade and the fact is people play footy for the love of it, esp in losing sides where you find out who's glory hunters and who's not.

So at the end of the day, wether it be 'A' grade or 'B' grade, this is an EDFL chat forum, so everyone can have their say on all grades, including under 10 'D' if they want.

Maybe those who think otherwise should create and chat in an "A Grade" only forum???

Get ready guys pre season about to be extended by a month, announcement should be made in next 48 hours.

Pre season may need to take a different shape, i.e. Gym work and/or road runs, as the councils want to kick everyone off the grounds. Rumour has it that the EDFL season is set to be postponed until May 12.

WELL HOW IS THE UNDER 10 D GOING?

Does anyone know if Ash Flavel is still playing at West Coburg. Heard he "burnt his second club for the season" and is training at Port Colts?

And we need it to be consistent.
Its looking pretty grim.
Everyone was talking up a March down pour its half way through March and still nothing.:(
yeh exactly one downpour wont do it we need plenty for a sustained period. whats the go why arent teams allowed to play ??? if the EDFL just went ahead with the season what would happen ?

If the EDFL went ahead with the season, its clubs and the league would face massive fines.

Players will also not be able to get football insurance due to the grounds being a hazard (oh&s).

The Amateur's have postponed the season for 2 weeks as of today. EDFL would have to be getting close to going down the same path......
They are their details below.....from www.vafa.com.au

The following changes to the fixture will occur and the fixtures on the website will be adjusted accordingly.

Confirming the following changes:

1. Round 1 will be played the week after Round 18.

2. Round 2 will be played on the Queen’s Birthday weekend.

3. Round 1 for A, B, C and U19 1 & 2 will be played on September 1.

4. Round 1 for D1 – D4 & U19 3, N & S will be played on August 25.

5. Club XVIII, due to commence on April 21, will have their Round 1 fixture played on the Queens Birthday weekend and therefore no change to Club XVIII finals. Their season will also commence on April 28.

6. The A – D4 representative match against the SFL has been cancelled.

7. The U19 match against AFL Queensland, scheduled for the Queen’s Birthday weekend, will go ahead as we are just establishing a relationship and want this fixture to continue long term.

8. The Bye weekend in July for A, B, C and U19 1 & 2 still remains thus our representative Football commitments for that weekend remain unchanged.

9. D4 will revert to a final four as we are not able to guarantee finals grounds at that stage of the season.

10. D1 – D4, U19 3, North & South will have their finals brought back a week to commence on the weekend of September 1/2 and conclude on the weekend of September 15/16.

11. A, B, C, U19 1 & 2 finals will commence on the weekend of September 8/9 and conclude on the weekend of September 22/23.

12. A and B Section will revert from a four week finals series to a three week series.

Note: a) The reason we are shifting Round 1 to the end of the year and not to the Queens Birthday weekend is because you would all play the same team twice in three weeks.
b) We are not able to take the fixture back by two weeks and play the scheduled Round 1 games on April 28 as the fixture is too complex and arrangements have been made with outside agencies regarding ground usage.

As the draw for Club XVIII and U19 3, North & South hadn’t been released an updated one will now be completed by Jeremy and will not be available until next week. The updated fixtures for all sections will be available on the website from Friday 16th March.

Just thought a few people would be interested to see what a season would be like with a delayed start
