Ellinbank and Lang Lang to be the big improvers and push for the top 6.

I thought having Nyora finish in the top six as an obvious improvement, but clearly we have to spell things out to people.... LL and Ellinbank big improvers not to finish in the top six. Is that clear enough Leo?

Catani will be in the top 2 again mate, no troubles with the players that they have picked up to replace the guys that have left. Lots of rumour about guys leaving that are not on the mark.

Who are the player's we need name's trick.Who will replace Youle,Tootoo,Evans,Smith, Harris,Pickering,James and Tymo?.That's 8 name's you need to give us.
 
Kenny, most of those guys have left but one hasn't. They have picked up Lehman, two Murphy's, Mounsey's back and a couple of guys that are not confirmed yet but have been training regularly. They have some young guys that will stand up this year like Benvenuto and Jose.

Don't think I'd call it underestimating, cautious maybe, don't forget Cora Lynn and Nar Nar Goon took a number of years to get it right in Ellinbank league.

No troubles at catani, youle and tootoo were unreliable, replaced with young ruckman deano, harris pickering and tymo, replaced with lehman, campbell and morozoff, big phil will be missed, there's one, LJ was never going to leave and again gives us one of the most dangerous forward lines, except for CL
top 6 will be:

NNG
Dusties
Catani
Garfield
Nyora

Poowong
6th between Lang Lang, Bunyip, Nyora.

Just my opinion but it looks like Poowong could be big improvers this year.
 
Okay here is my top 6 after the first couple of rounds.

1. Cora Lynn
2. Warragul Industrials
3. Nar Nar Goon
4. Garfield
5. Lang Lang
6. Catani

The top 6 is starting to take shape. You would think the top 4 pick themselves then Catani would be pretty confident of finishing 5th.

Who does everyone think will sneak into 6th position?

Nyora - Probably the favourites at this stage. Belted Longwarry and had respectable losses to Dusties/Garfield.

Neerim - Probably not as good a side as Nyora but look to have a pretty soft draw. Play KWR, LL, Ellinbank and ND twice means they a chance to win all their last 4.

LL - Sitting 2 and 2. Always hard to beat at home and capable of an upset. Loss to BB may prove costly.

Poowong Where are they at? Loss to Longwarry on the weekend would indicate they probably won't finish top 6.

Bunyip - Hard to judge at 1 and 3. Have been belted by the top sides but managed to knock off Poowong.

Others - Buln Buln, Longwarry, Ellinbank and Nilma would all be long shots.
 
Pretty much spot on i'd say Surkin, Poowong have let me down with my prediction, cant believe i didnt have Catani in my first pick left them out by accident. Nyora and Catani will prob fight out 5th and 6th.
 
Nyora got a tough run with NNG, Catani and Cora Lynn in next 4 weeks, by round 7 we will have played probably the top 5 sides then it should get a bit easier.

What about KWR surkin, almost rolled you blokes.

The draw will make a big difference, we got Garfield, Dusties, KWR and Longwarry twice.
 
Whoops forgot KWR. They are another team in the mix. They have dropped games to both us and NNS though so will be starting from a little bit back. Wouldn't rule them out though. Fairly even side.

Ellinbank are my tip in the 2's and of the teams we've played in the 2's Nar Nar Goon were by far the best so far but Catani are also looking good! We will have to wait and see with Catani 1's until they play a good team. Big O's prob good enough to be able to do the job.
 
Luke james is a huge loss to them but i think they will win enough games to play finals. They did beat the 4 teams they have to play twice and led garfield for most of the day, wont lose many games at home.

We got catani this week so should know more about both teams top 6 chance after that.
