Probably Walker though I also thought Rusling might have been something special. As I recall it his injury troubles started when he collided with one powerfully built youngster then named H OBrien at training and busted his shoulder.
Heritier has a lot to answer for, though at least helped win a much needed premiership.

I used to follow H years on social media and he wanted people to send him different styles of music to listen to. I sent him some pan flute music buy a few guys from Chile and he said he would return it. He never did

Coveting of pan flute music from Chile? Heritier's really crossed some sort of line there.

In hindsight, it is like Heritier may have invoked a Pele-esque type curse. Only way to reverse the bad fortune is to return the pan flute music to its rightful place.

Do we have a timeline on the pan flute music misappropriation?

Wonder if the timelines match up?

It m,ight have been Peru, the guys used to play outside the Vic Market on saturdays, very hypnotising pan flute music that I listen to when in Nimbin;)

Let me see. It would have been around 2010 sometime

Oh dear! The evidence is overwhelming, we don’t even need David Caruso to tell us it’s a [removes glasses] “match”.

Let’s hope Heritier still has the misappropriated goods. Not sure Pele gives out passes to the curse for ignorance.

The great Pele is in palliative care currently.
They normally only last a few days once the doctors do this.
Cancer ridden and not responding to Chemotherapy.
He is really is a great person by all reports. Hope he gets through this next stage with a bit of comfort

👍 such a legend and dying during the world cup will elevate him even more if that's at all possible.
Expecting huge tributes during the last couple of games.

All Footballers loved him.

You may need to be listening to this hypnotising music while getting your tattoo done.
Soften the PAIN

Caught up with someone at an Athletics carnival this weekend who has a son the same age as this years draftees.

Reckons Wardlaw and Sheezel (however you spell it) are two absolute stars. His son was a defensive mid and played on Wardlaw or Sheezel (cant remember which one to be honest) who were the attacking players as his son with athletics background had the aerobic capacity to keep up.

Sheezel he predicts will a Stephenson like first season but 20% better. Wardlaw is apparently recovering from an injury so may take a little bit longer.

He knows I am a Pies fan so without asking brought up Ed Allan. Reckons he could tell at some carnival he went to in 2019 that Allan (he was 15 at that stage) would be a star. Reminds him of Cripps. Allan needs to build up his tank but reckons we have a beauty.

Let's hope 'someone at an Athletics carnival' has an effective eye for talent.

The Hawks had also proposed a similar deal with Collingwood, but the Pies wouldn't have done it with Allan still up for grabs when their pick rolled in at No.19. Allan was believed to be inside the top 10 for the Pies, who had also strongly considered Barnett as well as Weddle for their pick.

From Cal Twomey's AFL article this morning

P
What were they offering?
Probs what Swans got
2022 pick 25
2023 2nd + 3rd

If we truly rated Allan top 10, very happy we stayed at 19

All the trouble trying to trade up and we got one of our top 10s anyway

Would have been nice to somehow have grabbed Barnett as well - shame GWS had so many high picks - our 2x 2nds would have got us top of second round to grab him

That seems like a good deal to pass up, hopefully Allan turns out into the gun they think he will be.

Yeah if they rate him top 10, that would be the only reason to pass up an excellent deal. You wouldn’t think he’d still be around by 25.

and Also they Traded ahead of us so we did not have the Trade Chance
