I think these guys are going to come through the system sharing ups and downs and will be the Nucleous of our Club for over a decade. All these boys have Voss Like Qualities and traditional football smarts.

I think this year is going to be awsome watching this lot come through. I think they will bring the best out of blokes like JON , Meyer and Hughes and will put some pep in the older blokes step.

Hope they all get a run round 1.

I get the feeling connors is constantly on the outer with the club, just seems to me like they're waiting for him to make the decision on whether he wants to get serious or bugger off. The way he's never grouped with our other top youngsters when senior players/staff are pressed to discuss our future, when from his on field performances he should be. Just a feeling.

but honestly, our club should just play him in the seniors - he has a lot of talent, and something we lack a lot of - hardness and aggression.

play him in the seniors, and im sure he will shine, and his attitude will sort itself out.

i've heard the opposite rumblings.

he's an incredible natural footballer that needs to improve his fitness base which he has been working overtime on this preseason.

sounds to me like he wants to be player and is trying his best which all you can ask at this stage.

its only his second year so i think a little patience is needed.

its Meyer, Hughes and JON who i'd love to start showing something. JON especially as his contribution would help our structure no end but sadly i have my doubts.

A few years ago these guys would have automatically got a game with our list. Getting more depth it is harder for them to break into the team. In the mean time the juniors from a few years ago are getting to the age with size and experience were they can begin to dominate games.

I am very excited by our future prospects we have been developing a skilled quality core of players and have a line up of good players waiting to get a game this means that when they finally do get a game they are older, bigger and more skilled.

IMO we have a lot to look forward to in the comeing years remember it took geelong 7 years to build to a point were they won a flag in 2 to 3 years time we are going to be seriouse challenges I just hope that the club sticks with the plan we have keeps TW as coach and doesnt fall into the trap of looking for a quick fix

That is one of the stupidet things i have ever heard. Every person who has ever played football has had the thought or dream of playing AFL, and now you are saying that you feel that someone who has acomplished those dreams doesn't want to be serious. No person in the AFL is there cause they want to feel good because they are on an AFL list, they are there to play AFL matches.... I'm not trying to have a go at you, it's just so dumb what you said.
