pfft lol, the mind boggles does it? It wasn't a doping regime, they've just been found not guilty!!! And your players have a positive drug test! Not too much to boggle the mind is there?Sadly I'm not surprised by the outcome and I think this is a tragedy for football to be honest! A systematic doping regime by a whole football club has resulted in no punishments and yet two of our own players are going to get severely punished and rightly so if there b sample tests are shown to be 'positive' but the mind boggles sometimes.
absolutely. But the only way is up nowAt the end of the day the biggest loser out of the last three years has been Essendon.
I guess to yo, being magnanimous is something that other people do.
No class mate
Well something happened, as Essendon were found guilty of it happening.do you ever consider that nothing actually did happen and that if essendon had had better record keeping it would have been done and dusted 24 months ago?
Seeing as neither of us have read the decision, I dont know.
But I expect one. They have nothing to lose.
absolutely. But the only way is up now
Only if we get buddy back. You can get Ryder.
we really don't care what vocal internet and talkback fans say or think.I don't see how anyone can be. It's a Pyrrhic victory at the very least. The club's reputation is forever blackened and supporters are behaving like the club has been absolved of all sin.
At the most any level headed supporter should be happy to have gotten away with it, but insist the club removes Hird and Reid at the very least to avoid even the slimmest chance that such a shambolic program will ever be run at the club again.
Signed agreements to be injected with Thymosin is enough evidence of intent I would have thought
No one is shying away from what our players did! If they're guilty then get rid of them plain and simple.pfft lol, the mind boggles does it? It wasn't a doping regime, they've just been found not guilty!!! And your players have a positive drug test! Not too much to boggle the mind is there?
Sorry mate but it is true: the majority of people think you got away with it, not that your club did nothing wrong.
This is Hird's legacy to your club. Your club: not Hird's, not Little's, not Reid's, not the player's. Your club.
But anyone reading between the lines - and the people I have spoken with in the sports science field - can see the players were at the very least wilfully ignorant of their responsibilities under the program. There's no way a professional sportsman should behave as they did. Ever.Actually, the way the rules work is that, without proof that the players had the drugs in them, that the little niggling footnote about "intent" controls everything in this decision, and you cannot demonstrate the players had any intent to use a prohibited substance.
If Dank gets done for supplying, it still does not demonstrate intent on the part of the player.
two words for you:No one is shying away from what our players did! If they're guilty then get rid of them plain and simple.
But you're seriously going to tell me with a straight face that Essendon has been cleared today because they were innocent! Insufficient evidence does not conflate itself with innocence.
bravo mate, you're support has been well noted and greatly appreciated!!
