You would’ve all been celebrating if he failed, the bloke seriously can’t win.Warner back to flat tracking.
Yes we would have been! You would’ve all been celebrating if he failed, the bloke seriously can’t win.
People of his ilk (bullies who are poor excuses for human beings) should be celebrated? You would’ve all been celebrating if he failed, the bloke seriously can’t win.
Poor excuses for human beings are serial killers and murderers, that’s a seriously extreme statement to make about someone you only know from a sporting context.People of his ilk (bullies who are poor excuses for human beings) should be celebrated?
The man is a thug, who is completely incapable of performing under any but the most ideal of conditions. An inexperienced Pakistani bowling attack, on a 2nd day Brisbane deck, is as close to ideal as it gets.
There is nothing about Warner's character which suggests that his off-field persona is any different to his on-field behaviour. The man is a disgusting pig, in human form.Poor excuses for human beings are serial killers and murderers, that’s a seriously extreme statement to make about someone you only know from a sporting context.
Again, such extremes for someone you know from a sporting field. You don’t know a damn thing about his personal life, except that he appears to have a loving family who he spends most of him time with outside of cricket (judging by insta). There is nothing about Warner's character which suggests that his off-field persona is any different to his on-field behaviour. I'm happy for him to double ton if we win the Test, I have nothing against him personally and don't think I have ever commented on him. I just wouldn't select him for overseas tours any more. You would’ve all been celebrating if he failed, the bloke seriously can’t win.
It's definitely one-sided, but that's because this is a very weak Pakistan team. It's hard to blame the pitch, when one team is bowled out for 240 on day 1, and the other makes 1/251 (and counting) on day 2.The Gabba delivering once again in producing dull-as-dishwater Tests.
A weak one who left their best bowler out who destroyed us last time. It's definitely one-sided, but that's because this is a very weak Pakistan team. It's hard to blame the pitch, when one team is bowled out for 240 on day 1, and the other makes 1/251 (and counting) on day 2.
They were something like 0/70 when I checked the scores briefly yesterday, so a lot of the credit needs to go to our bowlers for fine-tuning their length. It's definitely one-sided, but that's because this is a very weak Pakistan team. Yes it is... but they don't realise how close they get to the line if nobody calls them out on it. I read a stat that there had been 21 uncalled no-balls before the tea break yesterday. The ball which Warner nicked was the 5th delivery and 3rd no-ball of the over. It was the only one which was called, and even then it was only called by the 3rd umpire when the dismissal was reviewed.I’m not sure about the outrage that the umpire should be warning the bowler he’s going over (sure he should be calling no balls)
Shouldn’t it be up to the bowler to stay well clear of the line?
That will work accept the batsman doesn’t get a chance to adjust without the no ball call, but if they aren’t calling it anyway the point is probably moot.Yes it is... but they don't realise how close they get to the line if nobody calls them out on it. If he'd been called earlier, then he would have adjusted his run up, and probably wouldn't have bowled a no-ball. Then again, the ball may not have pitched in the same position and thus caught the edge, so it's all very hypothetical.
The ICC really needs to come up with an acceptable way of calling no-balls technologically in real-time, or close to it. Apparently they're trialling a new system early next year, which allows the 3rd umpire to make the call within 8 seconds of the delivery.
Speak for yourself haha8 seconds isn't too bad
Batsmen don't have the chance to react to the umpire's call, even on the rare occasions when it does get called on-field.That will work accept the batsman doesn’t get a chance to adjust without the no ball call, but if they aren’t calling it anyway the point is probably moot.
His reputation is fine for someone still 25 years old. Yes he needs to remove these cheap dismissals from his game, but there is more than enough exposed form at Test level to suggest he will be a decent player for a long time.Head throws away his wicket once again. He's not doing his reputation any favours when he continues to get out cheaply like that.
The situation is for quick runs not preserving your wicket.Head throws away his wicket once again. He's not doing his reputation any favours when he continues to get out cheaply like that.
Head shouldn't have been the one acceleratingThe situation is for quick runs not preserving your wicket.
Why not?Head shouldn't have been the one accelerating
He’s 9 years older than Naseem FFS .........His reputation is fine for someone still 25 years old. Yes he needs to remove these cheap dismissals from his game, but there is more than enough exposed form at Test level to suggest he will be a decent player for a long time.
I think people forget how young he actually is.
