Just saw this posted on a new thread on the cricket forum. Feel free to discuss. Difficult to split 2003 and 2007 for mine.
I have an affinity for the 2007 team after following them around the Caribbean for 2 months... but both great sides.

Would probably go with the 2007 team. Only 2 from the 2003 team would get in the 2007 team for mine. Lee ahead of Tait and for mine Bevan ahead of Clarke.

The plot over the Slater dumping thickens hey.
He's an uber douchebag

My favourite Slater story is when he got the wrong Australian test player number tattooed on his ankle. He and Brendan Julian debuted in the same test. Slats assumed the numbers would be allocated in batting order, instead they were alphabetical

And here's another time Slats behaved like an absolute moron:

99 for mine.
The Waugh Brothers and Warne. Reiffel was highly underrated. Moody didn't get out once in that world cup. Well maybe once and a decent bowler.

Not sure which thread this should go in, but De Kock refusing to play for SA last night as he wouldn't take the knee for BLM. Seems a pretty sh*t thing to do considering that countries history
Just based on the dozen or so white South African people I know there's still a "master race" mentality among some of them. Unashamed.

All the others are lovely people

He might have felt that standing together could involve standing and that political signalling to the people back home from the cricket board would be better achieved by the cricket board making a public policy statement on behalf of everyone.

If he is openly promoting other political points of view, especially on field, then he would be a raging hypocrite but I haven't seen that out of him.
