kennedy in, deluca out, forever and never to come back in...
i cant wait to see this kid play...

watched the game thought josh was really good. presented all day, maybe could of taken more contested marks.
was a really crowded farward line with setanta, diggers, chris bryan and even longmuire
all trying to run to the same spots so it was hard for josh to get any space. he tended to get a lot of kicks up on the wing trying to find his own space.
gotta say he looks like a great kick as well one of his shots went through post high from 50. i thought setanta, bannister, wiggins, russell, were amongst our best.

In Josh kennedy, jason saddington

out luke livingstone, deLuca

both were terrible last night. Carlton are going to have a great forward line

Livingston??
I am not his biggest fan but his contribution in the first 2 games has been more than acceptable.
DeLuca out for whoever at this stage next week, probably Saddington.

Dont think livo has been our worst either week.

At the moment, would think deluca and sporn would be two changes for next week. I get the feeling that sporn is on trial for his career, and been given a number of weeks to show whether or not he can cut it at senior level. I dont dispute his desire, i just feel he isnt going to be a regular senior player, or part of our future heading forward.

Our problem at the weekend, were sub standard games from senior players. Cant see lappin and scotland making that many errors again, well I hope not anyway. On a positive note, good to see continued improvement, from carazzo, walker and simpson, and a great attitude from fev.

Cheers

Livingston's been ok so far, leave him in there.

Hall on Livo with Lance cutting down the long leads.

T-Bird on O'Loughlin

agree with you that livo has been ok in the first couple of rounds, but is he in our best 22? me personally, i think not, get saddington in there, and for god sake play the kid kennedy, and get rid of deluca pleeeeaaaaase, its very painful watching him play:eek:

We need a strong backman for Hall and Livo is our biggest defender. Saddington is a lighter player and Livo hasn't done anything wrong so far so he should stay. Hopefully the forward line will play better with Kennedy in it rather than Deluca who so far has been a waste of space. Not sure how much longer Sporn will be in the team either.

Get rid of Chambers, he is a dud. At one point of the game he took a mark could have kicked to a better option, but tried to take on the man and turned the ball over.

Hope very much that this is the case. However I have a feeling that with Kennedy having shoulder surgery over the pre-season we might give him a few more games with the Bullants before we see him playing in a Carlton jumper unfortunatly!!

Also I would look at:
Out - DeLuca, Chambers, Sporn
In - Kennedy, Blackwell, Russell

You can't drop Sporn, he played too well and you have to reward that kind of effort even if he'll probably be delisted at the end of the year. Besides Russell didn't really impress apparently.

Have to agree, Sporn had a good game last night. He was probably the instigator in our second half improvement. He provided some good run and his disposal was tidy, in a game where skills were not at a great level. I think he could be a handy wingman/hbf, with the ability to be the link man between HB & HF.

I wouldn't go that far. I still think he's a hack who shouldn't ever play for the Carlton Football Club but if he's given the opportunity and is at least acceptable then you can't drop him. You should only drop players if they've performed badly (unless of course a class player who's been injuried is coming back into the side).

In: Saddington, O'hAilpin
Out: Chambers, DeLuca

Would like to see Kennedy have a couple more in the McGoo's. Maybe come in against the Hawks, given how they struggled with Rocca today.

I agree. I'd love to see Kennedy come in for Deluca. In fact even a tree trunk would be better than Deluca!

I think Livo deserves to keep his spot but I would play my man T-Bird on Hall. He did a great job on Pavlich last night.

I don't think they'll risk Kennedy at this early stage, there is no point in risking him anyway, we got more developed key forwards who are vying for an opportunity either way.

IN: Saddington, Russell (I want pace!)
OUT: Deluca, Chambers

Saddington can play forward or back, and if he plays back we can always switch Lance forward as well.

Don't forget Hartlett either, he could be brought in as well.
