Mate, the silence is because pundit after pundit - Shearer, Ferdinand, Murphy, the guys on 5Live, even Arsenal haters like Jamie O'Hara and Tim Sherwood said it was a terrible decision. Referee apologist Mike Dean even called it harsh. However, a bunch of people who can't see beyond their own parochial viewpoint want to argue all sorts of rubbish to justify it. Basically there is no point continuing the conversation in here.
Most pundits are morons, including every one you've named here.

Spurs problem isn’t just the amount of injuries but how long they’ve had them as well. You can sort of survive 2-3 weeks really under strength but the longer it goes the more it hurts the performance of the fit players as well. The stand out watching them is how ineffective their press is now. They started with a thin squad and have played more games than anyone so it’s become a disaster.

Ange’s big problem is some of the poor results earlier in the season even when they were playing a lot better. They could/should have another 10+ points which would’ve kept the heat off him for a while yet.

Money motivated managers sure.

But a good manager won't come near us I should say
Already had good managers too.
Poch getting sacked was embarrassing. Then Mourinho even worst. Conte was just out of his depth

Unless Levy spends on the transfer, it’s not going to get better then it is now

It really won't get much better

Ange without injuries probably has us 5th to 9th and in the cups

Levy just doesn't value on field success more than Enics ebitda

Ange did get as close to 4th last year.
Not all doom and gloom though.
Semi final of League Cup.
FA Cup still alive
Europa League too

Doesn’t help with an already thin squad having to go all out v Hoffenheim then 2-3 day break for Leicester

It wouldn't be if we had some reinforcements added to the squad by now

But we need to somehow not lose at Anfield in the League Cup. And have Villa away in the FA Cup.

Europa Leahue we need a point to guarantee last 16. From there who knows who is left

Conte had just won Serie A with Inter and has Napoli top of the table right now. They were 4th or 5th when he had his infamous rant and they sacked him, only to finish 8th.
Someone was out of their depth but it wasn't Antonio.

Levy exposed himself hiring a manager with the balls to call him out before being sacked

Posted something on the Spurs thread showing a similar theme mentioned by 14 permanent managers. All saying the same thing in different ways

Jose was definitely the worst. Covid meant he didn't get a transfer window to build a squad. He got 1 covid window that lacked the revenues worldwide for clubs to spend and was sacked before the next summer.

Conte and Ange cannot complain mind you. 618m euros spent on the team in the last 3 seasons that encompasses both of their tenures. The DoF and scouts have spent that money quite poorly.

How many players do Bournemouth have available? Outside of Huijsen and Outtara and maybe brooks that seems just about their best XI. Only senesi and evanilson seem clear best XI players out.
Tavernier started 13 of his 16 games pre-injury.

You’re right. You and Brades know way more about the game than Alan Fecking Shearer.
Not much point having an opinion if you're just going to let people like Jamie OHara and Tactics Tim tell you what to think.

I'll use my own eyes thanks.

Shame you can't open both.
I've already said that I don't think that it was a nailed on red, but there is justification for a red card there.

As opposed to you who is crying because someone doesn't have the same opinion of you.

I'm fairly comfortable with my balance here.

O'Hara and Tactics Tim may be bad but there are worse.

Keown
Cundy
Merson
Lee Dixon
Alan Smith
Alex Scott
I mean you hate them because they were Arsenal players.

TBH most on that list are shit anyway.

Majority of pundits are shite, too many looking to be viral/over the top like the American ones. Alan Smith is good because he never goes over the top, same with Andy Townsend. They aren't seeking extra limelight outside of punditry.
