To WB fans, what would we have to add to EMac to get Honeychurch to come west?
We'd do it in a heartbeat.

Honey's a decent player. Just has the trouble of not getting midfield minutes in the AFL team, kills it in the twos where he gets midfield time.

Woosha ex coach so some idiot in the media put 2 and 2 together probably.
Even for an 'idiot in the media', it'd be difficult to misinterpret this quote from Woosha:

"There are a couple of key defenders at West Coast who look like they have had their positions taken by a young player called [Tom] Barrass. They are players, who know where they sit.

"Mackenzie and Brown didn't play a lot in the second half of the year or a lot this year. I don't know where they sit contractually."

I'm just watching McKenzie play versus Peel Thunder and he's a long way off being a quality AFL player right now. Had to get moved of Apeness in the first quarter, dropped an easy hand pass that gave Peel a goal, kicked through the corridr straight to a Peel player and generally had only glimpses of looking capable... and this was WAFL.

If West Coast could get a 2nd rounder they would take it and run.

I watched a qtr of it earlier, looks like the game has gone passed him. Hopefully the rumours about Saints being into him are false.

What was the question he was responding to?

Eh, he was only on Apeness early on and then in the 2nd half, Ape got most of his marks early off the back of some bad EP positioning and then leading up out of the 50 (i.e. not with MacKenzie).

I actually thought MacKenzie held Apeness pretty well in the 3rd, out-bodied him on 3 or 4 occasions.

Doesn't help when you're the only reasonable tall defender in the side and the opposition has 2 200cm players in the forward line most of the day.
